That is mostly because I was farming most of the game at top lane. In teamfights I could kill the adc with R+W+R. I also should have get the Muramana instead of the second Emrbace first, would have leaded to way more damage. And it was my first game with Kassadin ever.

Taking a year to pull off a build that gets stopped by the most basic mres items seems reasonable if you're playing at an elo where

This basically means, with 40% CDR,
Items:
Runes:
Mpen marks, rest mana/lvl
Masteries: 9/0/21, taking everything with mana and full CDR.
This will lead to an 8k Mana Kassadin. This means the maximum damage of Riftwalk is 840. And that happens every 1.2 seconds. Boots? Why would you need boots when you jump every 1.2 seconds anyway. Mana probelms? If your W hits a champion you restore 40% mana. Also, you deal huge mixed damage as W double procs
