It seems quite larger than the cube, although the length is impossible to tell. It seems to be made of old, antique wood that has been preserved through the ages. It looks like it was preserved in tree wax or something similar (transparent with a brown tint that protects wood from deteriorating). There seems to be an unexplained shadow cast upon it, then, at other times, the ladder is much lighter. Probably alluding to the repetitive movement of the object casting the shadow. If we take my original viewpoint, it is going from the right bottom of the field of view towards the upper right, in a diagonal line. It is walking very slowly, and seems tired. It's a black horse with a brown saddle, and a long mane sort of dropping to one side (the side I am viewing it from). As I change my point of view, the shadow shape becomes clear(er). It is a sort of hot air balloon shape, although the details are still smudgy. One detail to note, the horse does not sink into the sand. The horse remains entirely unphased, walking towards his original destination. The cube repels the raindrops, and continues floating. The storm does not reach the flowers or the oasis in general. That part is really spot on! As for the cube, it was really sort of weird and difficult to grasp. I don't think I saw enough squares of the same color to consider it solvable, but then again I couldn't see a lot due to the paint/oil (especially the bottom side of the cube, which was entirely covered up) The fact that something is creeping up slowly and changing me seems to be life in general. I used to be a very bright and happy child and managed to make everyone happy even through the biggest shitstorm(s). Note the "I used to", nowadays I'm nowhere near my old self. I am a bit more pessimistic and depressive than I'd like to be but I've never made a conscious effort to change that. I guess the fact that it's black and oily shows that the thing is burrowing down deep inside? Life can be an interesting sculptor, that's for sure. Yeah, my ego isn't all that big. Infact, I constantly need reassurance from other people to make sure that I'm doing everything right and in the correct way. This is probably why the cube is in the center of the desert, because I want attention so I can end up being more sure of my decisions. If the floating represents change, then I think the fact that I'm floating without support from anything is a sign of growing independence. The fact that I'm floating in general could mean more freedom with myself, but it also possibly means that I'm becoming a bit blissful, 'a dreamer'. It could also mean that I have some resistance to the negativity, since the black oil is concentrated mostly at the bottom parts of the cube, it seems to be weighing me down, which also explains the motion of the cube (the cube is floating up and down, rather floating up but being pulled down). [/quote] This hits right at home, or rather, would've hit if it was referencing me from a year or two ago. I did end up with more friends than I expected, and took the time to get to know everyone inside out. I used to be the one who always kept (almost daily) contact with everyone. The thing is, I noticed that this sort of affects myself. I would spend entire days keeping up with friends, so I sort of started hiding away and only talking in certain periods of the year, to certain friend-groups. I guess this ties in with the change and black oil since I do feel guilty about this and do think about everyone a lot, I just feel too burnt out at times since I'm not very social by nature (or I guess being with people just ends up tiring me, no matter how enjoyable). I always wanted a long happy relationship too :< I'm gonna go on a whim here: since there is no interaction between the cube and the horse and the horse is tired when it appears in the scene in the first place, isn't it possible for my partner to have been in a relationship before ours (or just some sort of family/friend situation) which left them saddled and tired and mostly emotionally numb. They stay by my side and help me out but are still burdened by their own worries. The ghostly form could indicate their hesitance to share whatever may be on their mind with me, or their fear of affecting things around them negatively. The flowers are actually roses which have lost their old beauty. The roses are shriveled and in the vase there is only sand but no humus. The sun is blazing onto them. [*][i]Storm:[/i] As already mentioned the winds in the desert are pretty insane transporting sand all around the area and building up new dunes. Everything in the desert is changing from day to day. The current wind could rather be classified as a storm because it's dispersing a lot of dust. However, the storm is "dry". There are no huge clouds announcing any hope concerning upcoming rain. The storm just randomly buries sand from one place to another one. The roses on top of the dune slowly but surely lose all of their leafs and most of the other objects are getting covered by sand. The horse, however, is shaking its body because it's rather annoyed by the tiny pieces of sand being surprisingly hurting when hitting the body.[/quote]

Storm: rainstorm, it doesn't affect anything in the scene. it's windy and raining, but nothing changes as far as the cube, ladder, horse or flowers/cacti are concerned.[/quote]
