This guide is still so crazy good without any updates. Still prefer it over all others

Hey just wondering if you had any input on enchantments for boots, or if you even recommend them at all.

Master Yi frozen heart is a poor item choice, his Highlander makes him immune to attack speed slows, so your e will do nothing either. He outscales after 6 because of that fact. Simply rush a Thornmail or rush ap, and get a jungle gank to one shot him. With Thornmail you will out duel him unless for some reason he has 3-4 kills or so otherwise he'll just tower dive you at full hp as Alpha Strike can be used to dodge the tower shot, and your ultimate.

frozen gaunlet is me favorite item on malphite, gives him dueling power with the sheen, and it's aoe which is excellent for team fights, who doesn't want an aoe slow that gives armor, ap and mana?

Hello,
It's been a while I have an update on this guide, which is my bad. Since DFG is gone, you can take Luden's Echo, but It is not as good, in some regards. Personally, I prefer to just get more magic penetration, or go straight AP instead.

Hi man.... Nice guide... I'm starting to play and already liked a lot using Malphite with your build.
I just have some questions: What is the best "item build" to use from your guide? And the most AP "item build"? What is the best item to replace Deathfire Grasp when using "LOLWATCHME" build?

Sorry about my english...

Hi! I loved this guide ^^ I thought I was the only one going full ap Malphite, I normally go him mid taking q at lvl 1, e at lvl 2 and q again at 3 so that i have a lot of poke. and the thing is that he wrecks most mid laners. If you face a kat, you can outpoke / outdamage her before 6 and after if you interrupt her ultimate you can still do it. Upvote from me! :)

ROA offers nothing much
I mean, yea it gives you hp and mana, but its only early game where you would need mana
and as stated, i prefer doubledorans, it should give enough mana regen as long as u dont spam like crazy

The reason Rylais isnt good is because there is so much more options. IF you want to hurt, build straight ap/mpen, dont go for health. Not only so, your R is a knockup, which means the Rylai will have little to no effect, so only Q and E will apply the slow. And if you were to go cdr build, youre most likely going tank, and it would be better to get Randuins instead in that case.

I'm no diamond player, nor am I even ranked, but I have been playing Malphite top a whole lot lately, and find that there's a simple build order that ends up winning games by the 30 minute mark. If it's not by nexus, it's by surrender.

Nashor's Tooth--> Rylai--> Deathcap

I don't honestly understand why you oppose Rylai's. With that kind of slow, you can escape, chase, or kite just as well as anyone else, and your cooldowns are low enough that the slow can be re-applied before it runs out with just a little bit of CDR.

coz balanced team will usually consist a AD, AP mid, AD top. I excluded jungle and support from this as they usually don't do much damage. As you can see, there would be 2 dealing AD damage. Also, if an APC is using all his/her spell on you, feel honored. You just saved your team from taking huge nukes. APC, however, don't usually attack the tanks, but ADC does. The AD top will either peel you from their ADC or tank damage from your teammates.
And I would prefer ninja tabi because your ult makes you immune to cc at that cast time. After using the ult, you press Q and WE combo immediately. Also, malphite's job is to be on the adc, which deals mostly physical damage, so ninja tabi will allow you to survive longer, which will allow you to constantly slow his movespeed and AS.
You can get Mercs if the enemy team is full of cc and magic damage, but that would be a balanced team, it would be a magic heavy team.
