Predacon - From Coal to Diamond

I always thought that the chat was 20% of the league experience.[/quote] In normals its whatever, I don't really care about what people say there or even getting tilted, but the chit chat isn't really needed in ranked and just pings should be good enough. I see a lot of high elo/pros make use of it so they can focus and not get tilted by their teammates, even the minor comments can effect your mental state, at least it does for me and other players like Dyrus. If I preemptively mute my team right at the start I should theoretically be able to play at my best at all times.[/quote]

But remember, high elo players respond to pings, or at least they should considering their rank. In bronze/silver/gold and even platinums and diamond players do whatever THEY think it's right. And yes, sometimes they are right, but if your entire team is calling dragon and they go for an inner mid tower with no vision, just because #yolo, then he will probably end up dead and the teammates giving up dragon and perhaps another tower because they are 4 and can't fight the enemy. Anyways, if you are like me, and don't listen to flamers, then you don't need to mute everyone. But hey if you can't stand hateful comments it's ok and should go for the /muteall. Still, you could always try to stop giving a fck about what people say. It can prove beneficial irl.[/quote]
