Deep warding. Added to the list. Thanks! :-)
Out of curiosity. Can you describe your methodology? I find that unless I go

I do try to keep a pink ward out on the map at all times and have one in my inventory but that only goes so far and you have to decide if moving your ward makes sense since you can only have one of them on the map at any one time.
Then there is the decision tree of what happens if I run into the enemy junger and or enemy mid laner while trying to place those deep wards. If I can I like to take the scuttle crab before going into their jungle even though it may cost me some time in their jungle as it can help me make a get away if things turn dicey.
I haven't jungled with
Shyvana in a while, but I usually defer buying
Sweeping Lens until pretty late - like level 7 or something, but that's just because I like to place down a lot of wards, and
Stealth Ward enables me to do that. raptor buff is better than a
Sweeping Lens in just about every way, because the raptor buff comes up on a lower cooldown, and it will tell you where your opponent's HAVEN'T warded, and by Process of Elimination (PoE) you can kind of infer where they did ward. That would be how i'd control vision during the early game.
A pink ward at your opponent's red buff brush, or the brush near wolves can usually last somewhere between 5 and 12 minutes: Quite a long time. Getting vision of the wolf brush in particular can give your teammates a good idea of where your opponent jungler is, based on PoE. You'll know that if a jungler hasn't cleared out a camp in a while, then he's probably either on the other side of the jungle, or he's looking to gank a lane away from the side of the jungle where you warded.
I try not to get very deep vision of my opponent's jungle unless I know I can get away with it. Some instances of this is when you kill a solo laner (you'll have a numbers advantage), or you see an opponent recalling (thus, enabling your solo laner to protect you by proxy), or you see your opponent jungler show somewhere else (e.g. mid lane / top lane, to clear minions)

Thanks for the sig, MissMaw!

Sad day at the Leagues boyz and girlz.

Not sure what to do here. I definitely get some satisfaction out of winning. Losing 4 in a row kind of blows. I started preferring ranked over normals because ranked was more challenging but often winnable. This season rarely winnable seems more the norm.

Match History
Starting the strategy of picking Jungle primary and Mid secondary. Got Mid. I got to counter pick

This was a satisfying win.

Kind of a boring lane. Damn

The range on Yas’s ult is a little silly. I know it used to be worse, but in one fight he got chunked pretty hard early in the fight and then dashed off into the bushes and rotated around to sit in the fog of war.

Is freaking jungle the most popular position? I have my preferences set to Jungle primary and Mid secondary and I keep getting Mid. That is forcing me to revisit my Mid picks, but I really just want to play jungle. Actually I would really like to Jungle primarily and then Fill as secondary but that just gets you support every time.

I died too many times this game. It felt like one of those games where your team always dies while theirs always gets away with a sliver of health and there is no one around that can follow up. Unlucky.
I think the most annoying one was when I successfully kill

I’ll add to the decision tree?
Tower?
Dragon?
Gank?
Counter jungle?
Farm?
I'm certainly doing something wrong. But I am not sure exactly what. Last season I was able to climb relatively steadily. Each little bit of knowledge adding up to better play and more consistent outcomes. Right now it feels like something is off.
