Hi Kikaze!
The best way to help you will always be seeing a replay of a couple of your games in order to see what particular mistakes you make. There are a couple of sites that automatically save your games if you tell them so. If you link your account to replay.gg all of your games will be recorded (except for when the spectate system is buggy, so some random games may not get recorded), or if you look for your game replay in op.gg you can tell the page to start recording (but you must remember to tell the page to record specific games). It's also a good idea to say which server you're playing in, so that players from that server might add you and personally help you.
That being said, I'll give you some short tips on some stuff.
- Whatever position you like can help you climb. Just be sure to try all of them over time, since your abilities are probably more useful in some of them and that can change that over time.
-
Xin Zhao is really strong as of now. At least in lower elos he is, since games tend to take longer there. You should know how to play his
Enchantment: Devourer/
Guinsoo's Rageblade build to abuse his strenght though (not that it's too hard, but you might like playing him tank and that's not the reason he is strong now). Usually champions should be picked by how much you like to play them, but between the ones you like, you can always cherrypick the ones who are more powerful in the current meta :P
- Pathing is very variable. It depends on your jungler, the enemy jungler, where you want to gank first, at what level you want to be during your first gank and a long list of particular questions for particular cases. This means a replay is needed or the question should be about a particular champion's jungle path.
- Warding is really important. Properly warding can turn an entire game, even if you're not aware of it. This is why not only warding is important, but denying the enemy of vision too. You shouldn't have both
Tracker's Knife and
Stealth Ward. As soon as you buy your warding item you should swap your trinket to an
Oracle's Lens and use it to clear wards (most common places are on bushes when ganking and on dragon/herald/baron when taking them). On wards, some guides provide maps of "recommended warding spots", but sometimes you'll want to ward somewhere different based on need. Then again, a replay is optimal here.
- CSing is all about practice and habit. You should aim at farming every single minion for the first 3 waves as a starting point (this won't realistically happen in most games, but trying to get there is a good way to practice farming). Playing ADC is a good way to get better at this. After you're used to farming you'll have to start taking in account the rest of the stuff like harass, map awareness and roaming to other lanes. Late-game is a matter of strategy. From time to time you'll have to farm a pushed lane or take some jungle camps. You can't be fighting all the time.
Bonus fact
I hope I've helped you!

1) If you have a 80% winrate on a champ, keep playing that champ.
2) For your secondary role just pick the junglers that can go top. Xin, Warwick, Gragas
3) Don't waste time. Make sure you are doing something productive or gold efficient at all times. Lots of junglers waste time roaming around looking for opportunties for kills. Hiding in a bush for a long time hoping for a kill versus killing 4 camps and gaining a level & gold.
4) Punish players that overextend. If anyone on your team is being pushed into their tower that is a golden opportunity to get a kill and help your team.
5) Focus on objectives. Lots of bad junglers will get a kill then leave. Make sure you take objectives if its safe to do so. Whether its dragons or towers. Its a 2 fold benefit. You 1) gain an objective and 2) force the enemy jungler to react (so they come mid to save tower instead of ganking your bottom, etc)

I used to care about KDA, now I care about CS and Objectives.

This is something that's often misunderstood. What's better than punishing players that overextend, is planning to punish players that will have overextended. It's a small difference, but the point is that as a jungler, you shouldn't be reacting to what your opponent laners are doing. You should be planning out your ganks / camp farming well in advance.

Utopus, great advice.
But he is in bronze. If you can play Warwick well, you can carry self out of bronze even in top lane.
Additionally, there is so much to learn and think about, I try to keep the advice simple.
He may still be learning how to react to a Poppy ult so My advice was based on getting out of bronze.
FYI, i went from bronze to gold so far this season. Bronze was hella easy because just playing your champ at a higher level can win any lane. You could win playing Taric mid against a typical bronze mid if you are really good at Taric and understand how to play him.

Thing is, if you're still learning chances are you're not actually in position to climb with subpar picks.
Warwick sucks top. He does. And kikaze even said he doesn't enjoy playing the champion.
Xin Zhao can't build devourer there and has to improvise on his other (not so op) builds.
Gragas could work as a mid/top laner, but playing him is like learning to play mid with any other mid/top champion. You might as well try an easier/more broken champion if your objective is to climb fast.
You're underestimating Bronzes because you got out of there and overestimating someone who started to play last year. Also:
AKA you need experience. And it will take more time than climbing with, say,
Lux mid.

hey all. thanks for all replies. my sister gave birth so i was occupied :)
i played league again , got some more losses and wins, overall getting closer and closer to promos for silver :) (in theory in 2-3 wins i have promos)
-thanks for the advice regarding wards destroyed. sweeper helps a lot.
-just turned a game around exactly with your advice on planning ahead to be present and gank when opposing laners overextend(2 lanes were actualy feeding early, like 0-2 in 5 mins, but i had many planned and lucky ganks and turned it round). i admit luck had to do with it also ofc...not like i learned to consistently do it overnight.
-forgot to see how replays work, when i have time i'll do it. i see i have many areas to improve on. the more i play, the more i see mistakes i do even when i win... it's irritating realy :P

Are you on NA? Add me on League (PsiGuard), I'm a diamond jungle main and I'd be happy to talk. :)

1. my main position: i mostly like playing jungle. i like placing wards and handling objectives/jungle buffs. i could like playing support but i have trouble trusting adcs i have never played with. but idk what secondary position to main.
2. my champion pool: my 3 most played champions are Olaf (by far most often played this season; more than 30 games), Xin and Warwick ( 80% winrate on ww but as i got better i dont realy like playing him, feels like he ties me up early/cant make plays that i want). i recently fell in love with Gragas (the champ that got me to bronze 1 this season promos, bodyslam-flash ftw). I am trying to learn Lee Sin, i like his playstyle a lot but dont wanna rush it on ranked before i have good mechanics on him. i have MANY other characters i can play ofc, but only 2-5 ranked games on each.
according to a site, between all champions, i have an average winrate of 62% and an average of 7.9 kills/5.8 deaths/10.6 assists.
QUESTIONS:
where should i focus on improving?
-i try to have a good pathing pattern that allows me to both farm and gank. most usualy it works, but sometimes when i counterjungle(i.e. against devourer junglers, i cant let them farm) my pathing slowly falls off.
- i try to ward, but realy only place about 15-20 wards per game(junlger) OR(laner) 7-13 wards per game. for a 35-45 minute game, that sounds small, idk about other bronze ppl warding less per game and me being "ok", i want to be good myself. i mean i sometimes play with trackers knife + ward trinket, if i only place 20 wards per game something is wrong.
how can i fix this? are there patterns of when to ward i should remember?
-when i happen to play a laner, i farm about 55-60 cs at 10 mins. often i make it 70, but how can i improve? in bot games allies dont let me practice csing. also, when i dont play waveclear champ, i cant seem to farm more than 150/game and that feels wrong. is there a macro mistake there?
-what should be my secondary position? these are my (non-jungle)champions that i like playing as
"commonly top": hecarim, renekton, chogath, jax (and olaf i guess tho i mostly jungle with him)
"commonly mid": kassadin, varus, veigar
"commonly adc": ashe, sivir
"commonly support": alistar, morgana, annie
i also have other champs like master yi, sion, etc but i dont realy like them.
thanks all for the help :)
