so sometime around today, a new big update came out and I'll be making a new character.

Edit: Apperently it only downloaded the data(or a prt of it) for the update, the actual new league starts tomorrow. Don't make a new character right now, wait until tomorrow instead.

idk not really I guess. You can always get into a party and do stuff together, but that was the case when the game started as well.

The mobafire guild is still a thing and Caucheka and I play fairly regularly, I actually have no idea if anyone else plays.
It also does play like single player, but is just like every other MMO in that regard, you really need a group of friends or a party you can play with if you want that experience, and there are public parties you can join if you want to, but it's all pretty much up to you. It is rewarding when you do that though.

I am playing pretty rarely, but the new stuff got me pretty hooked and got me to make an arc mage. I am only act 2 normal though, so maps and stuff will take a while.
btw do you get bonus exp for leveling in a party? Also how does arc work with multiple projectiles(since the initial cast is targeted)?

you get bonus xp and bonus item rarity/quantity but monsters are harder to compensate.
arc doesn't work with projectiles because it's not a projectile, note the tags on it
lightning, spell, chaining
so it's not affected by proj or by aoe since it has neither tag.
