You can always get better with a champion, but focusing on just one champ to get great at, and playing just that one champ every game will lead to horrible team comps that will be so laughably counterable that those who are trying to get out of ELO hell with their carry will fail even more miserably. Basically, I agree that it's ridiculous to say "focus on one champ you're great at." It might be wise to have a best champ for every role (it's best to have more than one great champ for every role, in case they get picked/banned), but just playing one champion will just sink you into ELO Hell even lower.[/quote]

It's the collection of champions and champion types that your team is comprised of. For example, a team comp (or team composition) might be entirely full of healers. Alistar, Nidalee, Kayle, Soraka, and Karma would be an example of an all-heal team comp.[/quote]
