Not quite a scary halloween story but:
So I have this weird problem of sleepwalking or sleeptalking. I guess nothing really happens from them, but my dad installed cameras where we live so he gets notifications of movements and thus sees these moments.
My first recorded time was when i went downstairs, sat down at the dinner table, ate something, went outside and sat around in the cold for a while, went back upstairs without closing any of the lights. The whole thing was just very eerie.
A recent case was when i was told by mom to get up, and i responded to her and even apparently had a whole conversation. I went up to go pee and went back to bed. My mom was later pissed because apparently I needed to be called down 3 times. So apparently I responded to her twice and even got up to pee. But I have 0 recollection of this.
An older case was when i woke up, walked downstairs, and sat with a kitchen knife (which was in a drawer) at the dinner table for like 5-10 minutes. Thanks god I didn't stab anything.
Bonus (this did happen around halloween time): So in 2020/2021 I had pericarditis which is a heart condition that kept on occuring. One time I felt very faint and my vision was blackening (like if you stared in the snow for a long time and then went indoors). So I sat down with my mother stabilizing me. I had a lot of other symptoms and we knew it was a reoccurrence so we decided to call an ambulance. When the paramedic got there, they asked for symptoms and whatever, and one of the thing my mom said was a seizure (she didn't know the name since she's chinese so she just described it), but I was like "no way that happened". So for like 2 years after that I still didn't think I had a seizure, but apparently when one had it, they just don't remember it. It felt super weird because I swear i had full recollection since I could remember continous movements of my parents and didn't feel like I was shaking or anything.

Off-Meta Mid lane enjoyer
Hmm, I'm an avid horror movie enjoyer, so the 3rd category is something I can talk about! (I'd love to do a drawing but I'm really bad at it x))
I recommend from my recently watched movies:
Orphan (2009, Realistic Horror)
The movie follows a family of 4 with the classical, we gotta adopt another child but it's a horror movie so it has to be scary trope.
Katherine and her Husband John have been trying for a third child, but unfortunately she miscarries. Katherine and Johns Relationship suffers harshly from the psychological impact and after a period of heavy alcoholism, the wife decides to sober up and cope by adopting.
Esther, the Orphan Girl, seems sweet and perfect at first but slowly displays stranger and stranger behaviour throughout the movie and towards her new siblings. The family starts to deteriorate from the inside out as we slowly find out exactly who the family has invited to stay with them.
Honestly 10/10 movie. Loved the cast, who did an incredible job btw, the buildup of atmosphere, aswell as especially Esther's character. Can't say much about that without spoiling the movie tho :(. The prequel "Orphan: First Kill" (2022) was also pretty damn good, though, the first one is definetly better.

Hiii!
If only I wasn't such a hazard in the kitchen, I would have loved to show you baked goods...
Buuut I found these cool witches at the grocery store this week. Their bodies are actually halves of chocolate eggs, which is not that extravagant, but the taste is soooo great. And it gets extra points from me for the nice Halloween design. Here https://imgur.com/a/BQ18Kj1
And I also couldn't leave the store without a marshmallows bag, especially when they look so fresh and fluffy https://imgur.com/rwpggmT

Yesterday I went trick or treating with my little nephews. My sister-in-law got them super cute costumes and my mother-in-law painted their faces. They looked super cute. We were all ready to go when the youngest realized he forgot his bear. I was waiting outside while they hunted down the bear. It was a lovely evening and I wasnt really paying attention. Suddenly I felt something touching my face. I SCREAMED. Turned out the wind had blown the spider webs that our neighbors decorated the house with into my face.
Needless to say, my family made fun of me the rest of the evening.
Also as always carved pumpkins.
The left one is my husband, the little one is our little girl and i am the right one <3. And big news, I didnt cut myself this year!

Hey everyone and welcome to our Special Halloween Giveaway! 🎃
Our favourite spooky holiday is finally here and there's no better way to celebrate together than sharing stories and creations, and of course, receiving sweets! Not sweets in our case as we're all over the world and shipping would be tricky, but we've got some RP that's just as sweet for you to enjoy (and it's calories free)!
Some of us don't celebrate Halloween at all and others cannot because of everything that's been going on the past years. That won't stop us from having fun together as a community and enjoying ourselves, as it's a great part of the year that everyone should have the chance to enjoy.
Find out below how to take part in the event, and remember, there is always a reason to celebrate! 😊
We don't want to keep you distracted from your inspiration so we'll be quick about the prizes. There will be 10 winners that will receive a $15 RP Code each. In addition, their replies will be featured on the front page in the winners announcement post.
To spice things up, the winners won't be randomly picked for this event. All the entries will be checked by the MOBAFire Team and we will pick our favourite ones. Before the panic sets in, we will pick the ones that we've enjoyed the most, not the longest or the fanciest or anything like that. It's important to have fun while sharing your stories and creations and we will as well!
If you're not a fan of writing and you prefer sharing your inner artistry, we would also like to see your own Halloween drawings and pumpkin carvings. You create them... and they'll tell their own stories!
Pick your favourite and reply to this post until the 31st of October at 23:59 PM PST. 🕒
Thank you all for being here and we're very excited to see your replies! Please let us know what you think about this community event and our Halloween themed changes, we have more cool ideas planned for you. :)
