Always was a big fan of your
~ table of contents is gorgeous
~ toc/skip buttons are genius
~ your down-to-earth language that makes you seem approachable
~ use of delicious gradients and dual-tonality throughout that bookend the chapters
~ super cool combo section for players who need to see what can be done
~ neat key for ally/enemy warding: your ward efficiency images are actually excellent and don't deserve to be hidden by spoilers
~ as a math teacher, I enjoyed how you brought geometry into your guide. I thought the theory of this was really cool too, but also only with a grain of salt. I don't know exactly how you can word it, but something about it always being situational. In your example, none of the champions have gap closers. Later you talk about Thresh and Blitz, but replacing that Lux with a
~ champion match-ups is crazy in-depth
~ very pretty synergies coding!
Smol criticism:
~ size of icons in Items section and champion ability icons in the champion match-ups have lost quality
Overall, what an awesome effort with this guide. Although I truly suck at Anivia, I would be more confident playing her as support after reading, Tauricus.
PS: Which do you think is more viable,

One doesn't receive comments on their guide often these days :D A lot of the ideas including the skip button and the ToC actually came from Kayn Main's guide to Kayn, though I must admit, that guide didn't age very well. Heavens bless their lost images, may the same doom not meet us all one day :D
I added some extra explanation to the chapter on trignonometrical positioning as I agree with you, that it is highly situational - or at least - based on how you look at it. The thing is that it's more of an optimized variation of an already existing positional strategy, rather than an entirely new one, made to override others. So if we were to simplify the universe on 2 positional strategies: aggressive and defensive - trigonometry would represent an optimized version of the aggressive one, that should be broken from time to time, but preferably maintained. So if we were to replace the two champions as you mentioned, we would understandably switch to a more defensive stance, making a variation of aggressive positioning automatically inferior. Sorry if it makes zero sense, I honestly really struggle to put this concept into words :D I'll probably update this chapter again, once I figure out how exactly :p
About the item/ability image quality, it is a... debatable topic :D On one hand, YES I do want to have the prettiest icons, but at the same time, I really adore the wiki-links. That's why you don't see any custom icons in this guide. It is a secret little dream of mine, that Mobafire would allow a connection between custom images and the wiki, so that I wouldn't have to make any compromises. Or at least add the high-definition version of icons, though, at the same time, I understand why they don't - considering the data-size of such files.
Another problem is that many (if not most) League files are only available at 64-pixel resolution max,
Okay to the real question,
Sorry for the lengthy comment :D And thanks again for the heartwarming feedback <3
I really like your style and i want to ask you:
What programs/websites did you use to create such a style from a Anivia?
I use Photoshop for 100% of the stuff I create :D
I use especially often Polygonal lasso to cut out the champion from its splash-art as well as very simple color gradients to color-code my images to match the guide's aesthetics. I also use custom creative commons fonts that I download from the internet and basic photoshop layer effects like outline and satin. Nothing too advanced, sorry if you expected something really insane :D I am a photoshop-newbie who just tries random stuff to see whether it can work or not xd
Outside of photoshop I also use this website to create symmetric hexcode checkpoints between 2 different colors. Very important if you want to create a color transition in Mobafire text! For longer words I use this website as it allows me to create even more checkpoints!
For videos I don't use any tool, I tried learning Premiere PRO to make my gameplay footages better, but video editing programs are too hard for my little brain to comprehend :D
I also try to utilize content from Legends of runeterra as much as possible. The game is full of awesome artworks and it would be real shame not to use them! League wiki contains HD art of every single card if you'd be interested.
Then there is (already mentioned) League wiki! This website I use to find new hidden, little-known details about said champion. For example, I just found out that the little mines from
I also watch a LOOOT of videos regarding the topics of the guide I am writing. So before this guide, I watched like 2 hours worth of Vision-based youtube videos and mechanical knowledge. You'd be surprised how much one can learn while teaching others!
Also Practise tool is your best friend. Great place to record video footage in! Also, a great place to experiment and see whether you can't come up with some super-niche combo or interaction!
These are going to be the things that we are going to be looking through ideally with this review.
STRUCTURE: Overall just how things are structured. Tables, Columns, etc.
CONSISTENCY: Overall how often you keep your themes accurate and similar to each other.
INCLUDINGS: Things that I may want to see in your guide that isn't there already.
MY CONCERNS: This being things not already spoken about, Ideally too much added filler (things that make no sense.)
This section of ones guide as you know should be both detailed and easy to read without being too overwhelming.
I would recommend you spread out your information and make it a bit easier to understand the early game.
You're not ALWAYS going to have enough money to afford things on your first back, so what's better to build in case the player can't afford items?
Does Anivia have really low HP / Defenses outside of her Passive, would it be better First back?
A Ruby Crystal & Amp? Kindlegem?
There are always different build paths you can choose in certain situations. It doesn't always have to be damage rush.
Overall, this is a really nice way to format things. It'll be up to you if you decide to make those changes.
As you may know this next section is the "cheat sheet" portion of the guide right below items and runes.
While you do yes have matchup information, a quick list of champions and their threats wouldn't hurt to add, for ease of access as there are plenty of readers that don't read. They simply scroll, items, runes and quick information.
You have... good structure for some portions of your guide, like the Table of contents is really well presented, but the rest of your guide following that goes down in quality around "Abilities".
Essentially it starts to break apart and become more of a mess than a neat, tidy well maintained section.
I usually add in a consistency section, but that falls in line with this above message.
Your style is BLUE to RED. Keep it that way, use it sparingly and stop putting red inside reds inside reds.
The same thing with blue inside blues inside blues, especially from top down.
You have a lot of work to do to tidy things up to make it look much more on "style" with what you are trying to do, ideally from your table of contents. The rest should follow the same format.
In the sections you post ICON - TEXT - ICON. You can simply make the icon a bit bigger, remove the right side and make it less invasive to the readers eyes while using less walls of text since the sentence will become a lot more thinner.
You alternatively could learn how to do tables.
Don't punch me! ~Cat
I was honestly stunned with how quick you were - I low-key expected to wait over a month :D
And I really appreciate the feedback <33
For the ICON - TEXT - ICON sections, I will probably keep the style I currently use. It's not that I don't think your proposed style would look bad. Not at all. I actually think it would be much better for the viewers. But truth to be told, I absolutely LOVE my current item style :D Despite its flaws and wall-of-text-iness I just love it too much to change it. If any of my readers are reading this, you heard right. Your eye well-being is less important to me than my own :D
For the Ability section... I will see what I can do. I went through more than 4 versions over the time of guide-creation and none of them looked good. I guess ability sections are my big weakness. The fact that I can't add color gradients to table borders around the text is super limiting. Forcing me to choose between red or blue - while I want both :d I will try to work it out somehow though. Worst case scenrio - I'll at least fix the "red inside red inside red" issue.
With that said your item cheatsheat ideas are great and I will definitely implement them into the guide. Same with the threats table. I agree that it is very helpful for players that are low on time. I will fix these as soon as I can (hopefully tomorrow).
Anyway, thank you again for taking the time and reviewing my guide. It means a lot to me <3
Have a wonderful rest of the day <3 (or night? I lost the track of time)
You can use or throw out my advise. It's fine, it's an opinion, not a demand.
Overall your style is RED -> Blue not

That's the biggest thing I would change.
Much deserved contest win, looks like your best guide yet! I especially love the formatting and graphics, you really made something unique and memorable. Congrats again, you should be very proud of your hard work!
Thank you so much, Silver <3
