No, the person initially hit will be dealt damage and will give you 15%. The people hit by the AoE aspect of the skill would be hit and give you the 5%. So if you hit someone, with your ultimate on, with Q, 15% of damage dealt to the target of the actual spell is "vamped" while the surrounding units hit give back 5% of damage as health.

In any case, I would really like some moar sv items. How can you tell how good sv items are on a given champ when there are only 2 items that use it? You often need lots of lifesteal for it to be remotely worth it, and you need lots of sv to do the same. I've often thought some champions with sv would be good, Karma, Singed and Eve would all benefit from it, for example. That would allow them to be slightly less squishy and more viable for the ranked game overall, anyways.

The reason created this post is to see if someone could think of a pure SV item instead of one that's a combo item Hextech Gunblade. Or using the lesser gun for spell vamp isn't worth it. What kinda items would you guys like to see?
