Although it causes the team to know locations often, it also doesn't effect how well you play and if mistakes are made. You can't cover everything. It might be true that FoW is non-existant..., almost, this way. But, as I said, it isn't for every game.

You could have a good versatility of summoner spells on your team.
2x Clairvoyance
4x Teleport
4x Exhaust/Flash/Ghost
If you had good usage of Clairvoyance, the people with Exhaust/Flash/Ghost could Teleport and do the ganking. Keep in mind, some of you may already be close and you don't even need that many people to get the job done.
As long as you use the summoner spells in a timely manner...
With what I usually do, the enemy is already surrounded. :/
Them Flashes and Ghosts don't help them one bit.

It's best for mid-ELO.
In low-ELO it's sub-par, because it's hard to tell where the scrubs are wandering. Although, it makes TF ganks pretty easy.
In mid-ELO, I can win with or without a tank. (kog'maw w/ cv game was like that)
In higher ELO, you need a bruiser-jungler to gank/initiate.
As ELO gets higher, the necessity of a tank who can absorb damage and CC well grows with every 20~50 increments starting with "probably need one."
Obviously, bad players are bad. But if you simply communicate and practice, it's OP. :P

I didn't say go lolly-gag into a game without summoner spells. Two things: that's ******ed and it's not even possible. I'm just saying that it helps to be comfortable with all, being able to use them, and not to always rely on just two specific ones. I just didn't use those words.

An enemy TF once gave us some trouble with Ghost -> Flash > wall -> Gate though.
