Tanky DPS. Doublelift is the best Blitzcrank player in the game and builds something like this:
Doran's Shield
Sheen
Mercury's Treads
The Brutalizer
Trinity Force
Frozen Heart
Banshee's Veil
I don't know how long he keeps his Brutalizer or whether he upgrades it into a Ghostblade, but he gets Infinity Edge when he's finished with his main item build. Manamune is optional but I don't believe Doublelift runs it.

I like Tanky AP DPS.
AP scales on his Power Fists, Rocket Grab, and Ultimate.
Low CD Power Fist means you're practically a strong DPS. Means your static shocks and static fart hurt like bricks and pavement.
But if you prefer to have AD-style DPS, and the enemies' got MR, go what you please. :P

It only scales on Rocket Grab and ultimate. Power fist doubles your physical damage. That + Sheen proc = pain. But yes, Q and R do pain.
