I personally find AP better. Here are some points that I can think of.
All of her ratios are AP.
Survivability won't matter if you take out carry before anything can happen.
Ult is Attack Speed.
Using Ult, AP can crush towers faster than AD.
AD doesn't rely on CD.
AD is sustained damage.
AP can have sustained damage through Q spam and Lich Bane.
Now, for all you math freaks:
Let's take a AP Eve with 600 AP and Lich Bane(No CD and 1.4 atk spd) with a AD Eve with 350 AD and Trinity Force(No CD and 2.5 Atk Spd). For the sake of the ideas, I will calculate for DPS in 1 seconds(burst) and 5 seconds(sustained). Also, I will not assume there are any resistances for ease of calculation... XD.
We will start with AD:
Burst:
AD: 350
Atk Spd: 2.5 attacks per 1 sec
Hate Spike: 85 per hit for 3 hits(.8 second CD) = 255
Auto Attacks: 350 per hit for 5 hits = 1750
Ravage: 320 per hit for 1 hit = 320
Trin Force: 1 proc with 107.4 base = 161.1
Total Damage in 2 Seconds: 2486.1
Sustained:
AD: 350
Atk Spd: 2.5
Hate Spike: 85 * 7 = 595
AA: 350 * 12.5 = 4375
Ravage: 320
Trin Force: 3 procs * 161.1 = 483.3
Total Damage in 5 Seconds: 5773.3
AP:
Burst:
AD: 107.4
AP: 600
Atk Spd: 1.5
Hate Spike: (85+(.28*600))*3 = 759
AA: 107.4 * 3 = 322.2
Ravage: 920
Lich Bane: 600
Total: 3521.2
Sustained:
AD: 107.4
AP: 600
Atk Spd: 1.5
Hate Spike: (85+(.28*600))*7 = 1771
AA: 107.4 * 7.5 = 805.5
Ravage: 920
Lich Bane: 600 * 3 procs = 1800
Total: 5296.5
From what I am seeing here, AP does way better with burst and only slightly worse than AD in sustained damage(if it is 5 seconds). Seeing as team fights usually only last 1 or 2 seconds until it becomes "pick up the scraps" time, AP is, IMO, better.

The problem with that is that AD utilizes burst from Triforce far better than AP uses Lich Bane bursts. AP can't afford to stay in, otherwise she dies in a matter of seconds. AD can continually stay in and get that Triforce proc every 2 seconds. If you try to build tanky on AP, you don't have enough damage. :/
