Most powerful.
Depends how you quantify power.
Is power, their dependability and consistency in solo queue?
Is power how much damage they can do in a set amount of time?
Is power their utility, and ability to adapt to different situations.
Is power how difficult they are to play well?

Game Changers?
I'd say that the most powerful AP Carry then is Mordekaiser, His ultimate can give a losing team an Ace, and then you can push to win.
Mordekaiser is rubbish in solo queue though.
Most of the "game changers" are tanks and supports, as apposed to Carries.
Nidalee is the type of champion who can change a game, and do extremely well in Solo Queue, but that's not because of any particular skill she has, but instead, how she is played.
She forces the enemy team to attempt to gank her, or else she will push down your towers.
And it's incredibly difficult to gank a good Nidalee, so she is very good in solo queue.
It's kind of a hard question, there are lots of tier lists for solo queue, one i recommend is Elementz'

Most carries. That is what a carry does.
Any carry can
"Power, Solo Que, Can Change a Game"
Vayne, Orianna, Brand, Annie, Caitlyn, etc...
and @Tem, Morde is NOT a carry by any means.
as well, most of the game changers are carries who get fed.
...
here is yet another list from LoL wiki for you (see the trend?):
Carry: Champions that generally start off weaker than other champions, but become gradually powerful as they gain levels and items to the point where they can potentially take on multiple champions by themselves. Most carries have skills, passive or active, that scale with their stats, such as an increase in Base Damage and Attack Speed, and rely mostly on their regular attack to dish out damage. Carry champions are extremely effective late-game at pushing the team to victory, either by killing off key players on the enemy team, controlling elements of gameplay, deal large damage in team fights or supporting the team in attacking.
A
Akali The Fist of Shadow
Ashe The Frost Archer
C
Caitlyn The Sheriff of Piltover
Corki The Daring Bombardier
E
Ezreal The Prodigal Explorer
G
Gangplank The Saltwater Scourge
J
Jarvan IV The Exemplar of Demacia
K
Kog'Maw The Mouth of the Abyss
M
Master Yi The Wuju Bladesman
Miss Fortune The Bounty Hunter
S
Sivir The Battle Mistress
T
Tristana The Megling Gunner
Tryndamere The Barbarian King
Twitch The Plague Rat
V
Vayne The Night Hunter
And sorry if I came off a little rude, I am just a little annoyed at how you constantly botch up your info yet constantly argue that you are right and everyone else is wrong.

Sprru :)
Was just trying to say that I've gotten penta kills when my team was down 25 kills, only to win because of it.
I'm pretty sure that's defined as "carrying" the game :)
Also, if you REALLY want to argue with your beloved 2000 elo players, such as Elementz, then go right ahead.

Yes, that IS considered carrying, but not with a carry champion.
And the OP specifically asked for a carry CHAMPION :)
Hell, I can carry my team as Shen, doesn't mean I'm a carry champion.

I'm sure that he thought AP/AD Carries were the ones that carry games.
I'm merely stating the most "powerful" champions in the game.
In a "REAL" game, a carry can't carry at all, they can only do damage.
The real people that win games, are the people that keep the carries safe.
The Zileans, the Sorakas, the Jannas, and the Amumu's, Those champions keep people safe, and carry games.

Sure that helps, but without the carries you have a slim chance of success, without support it is much more doable.

A team without a support isn't viable.
Not in halfway competitive play anyways.
