Twisted Fate: When played AP dominates his lane and has easy farm, but can also be played AD if necessary. Can counter enemy ganks with his ult / gank lanes that need help easily and be back mid in seconds. Can split push / backdoor turrets and inhibs. Free visibility of enemy team with ult if necessary.
Now the trouble is getting him when he's not banned. :)
Janna is also great for carrying in the sense that she can save her lane partner from ganks most of the time, and during teamfights easily protect the carry with shield + tornado. Also if you go into a fight that you decide is a bad idea, you can go "no thanks" and reset the fight with your ult. She's also a good counter to supresses and channels since she has a low cd knockup (and ult if necessary).

A true carry is a good tank. Without a good tank the "carries" are tower humping or too afraid to do anything because they will die because they have bad tanks. That is why I say the most important element to a team is a good tank. Without it... well we have all been there I am sure.

Mordekaiser and Cho can be carriers man... Bot have true damage on ults, can hold a team, disrupt it, and rape! Cho can eat half of a squishy champ being full tank build! And morde can just get that ****ing ashe/cait on ult and turn the battle to a 6x4... they can carry a team, no doubt

Brand is strong but I don't think he offers as much as Annie right now, who is borderline OP.
well, yeah, annie is better than brand. Morgana can stay alive almost every fight, and get awesome kills, Veigar is a great AP too, Area Stun, Huge reate on W, good rate on Q + Nasus stack style, and the ultimate, ****ing anti-ap... That thing does ***** of damage to any ap enemy...
