Now that I think about it.. all the top EU teams are either from west EU or most of the members are from west EU, so they'll all be switching over to the west. Since the west is going to be more competitive it'll attract more people, easily overloading the servers.

Hopefully this will happen, so I can have some laughs = D

This still won't work, it's blatently obvious West EU is more popular and thus so crowded, there are probably 90% more players currently playing in West EU than East EU, and more likely to be more since, in theory, most East Eu will move to West EU, making only a small number left on West EU, so now we got more players in a smaller area.

?

The Zenon post I quoted earlier said that players would experience no significant difference in ping between the two servers.

Also, who wants to play with people that don't speak english? It's not uncommon for me to play with a russian that I can't understand. I'd rather play with 100ms than with people that don't speak english.
