isnt it the utility she brings going to make her an op champ? Think about it she has a Stun, A shield that CAN Damage, a Blink, and then Another Stun/Slow with damage, i see her being a strong Roamer and im sure she'll get hard nerfs other then that im going to buy her

so it looks like her flow of abilities is eclipse->zenith blade to initiate->shield of daybreak to stun the carry, then solar flare when everyone is surrounding you.
I think people say her ult is a little underwhelming because they're thinking of it from the caster mindset where you should be able to cast it from a safe distance and have it do alot, but I don't think you're supposed to initiate with it, since it is likely easy to dodge. You want to distract everyone with your initation and then ult when they're bunched together attacking you

@_@ SOOO Lich Bane or Tri-Force+ Defensive items? I think either way could work for her. People are all caught up on how she tanks I'm more interested in the people who are going to turn her into a 21/2/30 champ.
She's got the skill set to be a solid solo laner like Jarvan. Depending on her ratios she might be like AP Sion shield farming with a philo stone for early game. Turn that into Lich Bane or Tri Force and all of a sudden you've got a beefy DPSr.
But that's what I plan on figuring out eventually. All in all watching Phreak play her wasn't the best view into how effective or ineffective she'll be. I'll just sit on my hands till then.
