I remember once, as pre-nerf Swain, I was against her. After seeing if I could survive her burst (I couldn't) with Raven up (since she's a free kill if you don't die in her initial burst), I purchased an early Negatron and built it into a Banshee's after my RoA. Next time we fought, I got the kill, and it was her playing defensively for the rest of the match. She's one of those characters that you need to know how to play against before judging her, like Vlad, kind of. Play (very) defensively if you can't survive her burst, if she gets no kills she's terrible, slightly worse than if she does, late game. Once you have a Negatron (if you're a little tankier) or BV, go full out offence, and watch as you dominate your lane![/quote]
