that's kinda odd dont you think, couldn't someone just f5 bomb their own guide to rack up its view count?
They could, but think how many times you'd have to f5 just for 100 more views. Anyway, people look at the score, not the view count.

As the viewer counter is part of the whole site, you need to wait till your guide is half-fully loaded to get one view. You cant simply press&hold F5 all the time. I have 37k+ views on my guide. It takes up to 5 secs till the site is fully loaded. Means: I would need to sit 2 days in front of my PC without a pause and press "F5" every 5 seconds to double my views. Who has the time to do that?
