None of the early issues of PC Gamer in U.S. are wrapped.
-The codes are not protected by a scratch-off cover.
-The codes are not linked to having the magazine scanned on purchase like game cards
-There is nothing to prevent people from walking into the aisle, and taking pictures of or scratching down the codes and going home to use them all.

I know... That's why I'm waiting and going on the "official" release day. Hopefully there will be less *******s where I buy it. Last month's wasn't even touched last time I went there and that was... 2 days ago or so. I think I've got a nice shot at it.
