Sometimes I type [ [Gate] ] and I always end up backtracking because I remember it's not listed on here.


I'd really like to see it on here.
It was originally a unique skill on it's own, and I dislike how I can't reference to it without referencing Destiny just because it's attached to it now.

It'd be good for referencing.

I mean, all that needs to be done to dissolve any confusion would be a little message below the description.
"Can only be used during the duration of Destiny"


Plus, the icon is totally wicked awesome, so I'd like to be able to see it more often.

What exactly was the old TF like? (been playing the game for only about a year)

I know his E was like, a long CD port, and his ult was basically his ult now minus the port...amirite?

was his passive the stacked deck, and he didn't have the global +2 gold?

Old TF had a 120~ sec CD global teleport on E.
His ult revealed all targets for ~6 seconds and slowed them for 30%/40%/50% during the duration.
His pick a card was way different. The gold card did massive damage and had a 2sec AOE stun, but was only "visible" for 0.1 sec or so, while the blue was visible for ~1 and red for ~0.5.

Keep in mind that the numbers are probably off. This is just off the top of my head.


On topic: I think having Gate would be good.

Searz covered a good portion of it. I'll try to fill in the missing bits.

His passive was originally a global critical-hit-chance buff.
It was nice, but it only suited Twisted Fate's lore not his kit design. Back then, all abilities scaled by ability-power, and the way Twisted Fate was set up made him a natural nuker.

Wild Cards used to have a 1:1 ratio; same with Pick A Card where Gold Card was an AoE stun.
Naturally, no one noticeable bothered building crit-chance or AD. It was all about Lich Bane and Zhonya's Ring.

I think Searz is exaggerating a little about the Gold Card's siting time. It was closer to 0.5 while Red was maybe 0.7. (Cmon, 0.1 is impossibly hard) But the general concept is true. Each card had a different visibility time, which made it more difficult to pick Gold Card.
However, Blue Card let you pick another card, which made it AMAZING for pushing a turret. Blue, Blue, Blue, Blue... never-ending.

AD TF only started getting a bit of momentum because Riot kept his recommended items AD focused and created Stacked Deck; which is strange since they removed the crit-chance passive.



Beta TF is exactly like what everyone says: Overpowered.

There weren't ranked games with bans and picks back then, so it wasn't about "Who gets TF" but "Whose TF is better"

I'm actually pretty sure it was in the 0.1-0.3 area. It's not that hard when you're expecting it.
Google has a job title called "Head of Black Community Engagement"..

-Pick a number between 0 and 9
-Try to stop it on that decimal of the 3rd second.
