The point of the game isn't just to get kills. You have to rape your lane, and then help other lanes rape their opponents also. Morgana has awesome ganking power with a good Q and R if necessary, and most low ELO's don't ward their river. Annie is a popular pick for the same reason (good ganks). Also, direct your team. If you really are the best player on your team, you should be telling your team members what to do in certain situations (if lots of AD, ask everyone to get chainmail, etc.). Ward and ask people to ward. Map control is a key element in winning teamfights. Do objectives (dragon, nashor, jungle minions). Disrupt enemy jungler (easy as stealing wraiths). Be the last pick for your team (balance them out; learn to play every role as best as you can and if people don't pick support, tank, jungler, go in that position). This will hopefully get you to a higher ELO where everyone becomes a responsible member of the team.

Seriously, you are telling me it's my own fault loosing and that i have to carry 4 terrible players almost every time?

Jesus christ.. It's a 5v5 game not ****ing 1v5 even though it sometimes seems to..

The game works entirely different in solo queue and premade teams.

-You can rely on your Team in Premades.

-You cannot rely on your team in solo queue because they are so bad that it's completely random which team will win(50% win ratio). (At least in low elo).

My tip(And this is the most important thing, trust me):
Don't care about your team when solo queueing.
You have to get out of low elo on your own and noone's gonna help you there. Once you are at around 1,5k you can expect your team to do decent decisions.

When I say don't care about your team I don't mean trolling.
Get every cs you can, steal every kill you can, play carries even if you need a support and always play your best champions.
Beat your lane, farm the **** out of your lane, get your team to do Dragon and Baron when YOU think it's the right time.

If you lose when you are fed it's almost always your fault(Blame every loss on yourself, this helps improving your gameplay) because you didn't play/pick well enough.

It's not hard to get out of elo hell when you are good.
Games are carried extremely easy on such a low level of gameplay.

And if you don't get out there, you don't deserve it.

This is also the reason why solo queue is so frustrating, people expect their team to do good decisions and play good. And they get mad when they don't.

Oh, and always try to get FB in their Jungle when you have a stun or something like that.
This is usually not done and most people don't know how to react to an early invasion.

But then again, most teams are afraid of doing it. t.t

@Turbobabe
You might just be on a losing spree.
I had one of those at the end of season 1 when I was 1500 elo and just wanted to play a little.
Got down to 1400 elo and has to play ~20matches to get back up. It was annoying :(

Not true. There are supports who have gotten to 2000elo.
Just play something you're truly good at.

I will admit that I have this problem. Even when I assume my team is bad, some part of me (since I'm so used to premades) tells me that if these guys can survive their lanes and I can murder mine, we might do okay.

I have learned this is not true. I still don't like playing solo queue, but I guess it's good practice either way. :/

If they did, they went duo queue with an AD they know.

If you look at the match histoy of famous support players, they play carries to climb the ladder again. Not supports.

Xpecial is a good example of this.

Considered himself to be an AP player, but now he supports for high level play.

I agree, if I'm trying to win I'm not playing a support.

Turbobabe I see you as a team blamer / rager. And tbh you mybe are. Thank god you got down to 1200, we don't need ragers at 1400+ ELO. Also, You can have those stats. Just by laning. You need to gather up and do objectives. Push turrets... Etc. How the **** can you lose with a fed tristana? Just puhs top when they are bot and win... Don't get focused late game... damn
