OR, you get used to being super-fed by newbies or losing to a fed enemy who can 1v5 people, and end up getting stomped when you come back because LoL actually has balance and methods of recovery that make the game less hopeless and one-sided.

Got Witch Slayer (the supports there are really aggressive), won and decided to play LoL.
This time, I chose Akali. Really guys, the game seemed to be a lot slower: I could dodge every Corki ult, combo so fast that the enemies couldnt reach their towers and etc.
How HoN affects your LoL skills? Its because HoN is a lot more faster (and more OP compared to LoL (3 secs stun, AoE silence with 5 secs CD)) and you get used to that pace. Then, you go to LoL where things are more "normal" and pwn ***es.
It's really interesting how rival games can help players.
