AD/Hybrid Annie. The Viable Trolling Girl?

I took a look at the stats and realized she did almost half-half of AD and AP with this build. Nothing is as pleasing than seeing a fireball pitch that crits for 600-700 at ~1.5 attack speed. People around me always say things like "Why build her like that when she can just go straight AP and nuke people for the same damage?" Well, true. She is one of the best nukers in the game especially with her nice stun and AOE damage, but that's just extra stuff. They're both different play styles yet I find them both effective. Personally, I like going hybrid more because I find it extremely easier to farm because of my crazy basic attack damage and attack speed coupled with a Guinsoo's blade. Phantom dancer really helps me with the much needed movement speed to chase and keep up the Guinsoo stacks as well - all the while spamming your skills that STILL do moderate damage andd to build up a STUN. The majority of the games I've played with her going ad/hybrid ended up with me winning. The enemies just underestimate you like crazy. I usually start off with boots and 3 pots. I farm up for a Blasting Wand and then later build my boots into a Berserker's Greaves (or if we really need some sort of AP, a Sorcerer's boots). I then build my Blasting Wand into a Guinsoo's Rageblade. At this point, she's still a lot more AP than AD, but from here on out is where it changes. With Guinsoo's, you will be extremely crazy at farming. Like ridiculously good at it. Once you get your 8 stacks on Guinsoo's going and your Q, it's happy farming. Start building AD items like Infinity Edge or Black Cleaver and rape faces. Build like a typical AD carry after. She's pretty much like a Jax with stronger CC. Sword (instead of going straight Infinity Edge) because Karthus's ult was getting annoying. Long story short, it saved me multiple times and I was able to help the team out. Couldn't pick up as much kills as I wanted to because of the lack of damage output from Infinity Edge. Jarvan did well with the ganks and initiations. Pushed mid and took out the three turrets in about 2-3 minutes. This also shows how much you can do with just a Guinsoo's Rageblade. They made it really hard for me and Garen to get close to them. They would always slow/snare us or run away (especially Corki with his flying thing...). We won in the end though because we pushed more turrets. Not to mention our Ezreal did work. I was 14-2 before late game started to cause trouble for us. Obviously I didn't win but as you can see...Hybrid Annie is VIABLE. I dare you guys to try it out...[/quote]

Not sure how accurate this is but I'm pretty sure by the time you get a Guinsoo's rageblade, you will have more ap than someone who has a Rod of Aages (when the Guinsoo is at max stacks that is). Every few autoattacks, you back that up with a skill. Once you get your zeal/phantom dancer, you can chase them so easily with your AA's range. They'll be forced to fight or do something to stop you from throwing those fireballs. If they get close to you, use your skills and because of the stacks on Guinsoo's, you can easily do 300+ from your Q. You have to play her a bit more smart. Play like an AD carry. Sit back and don't draw much attention from team fights. I always try to get my stacks up before I use my spells just to make sure I maximize the amount of AP damage I can do although this isn't always possible. It takes a little getting used to.[/quote]

So I opted for an Abyssal scepter for that magic resist + some magic reduction to wear them down a bit more for my autoattacks. It was a minor setback but it did help the team overall.[/quote]
