That's the point of an AP though. "Paper Tiger"...Well AP Poppy is more like a cardboard howitzer with live ammo. I know you know you're an ***, but there's no need to consistently be an *** by making large statements which in turn discredit yourself. Why would anyone take you seriously if your approach is "no you're wrong I know better"...there's a reason mobafire is looked at like a joke by most people.
Experience is important, but also articulating that experience into well formed "respectable" sentences is what will get your voice heard. I'd rather be ann ******* who's opinion or statements mattered than just an ********.
There are strengths and weaknesses to both. AP Poppy has a raw burst edge which IS an advantage over AD Poppy. AD however can stay in a fight longer because she is often more durable. It's a trade off, there is no "wrong" between both concepts just their builds and execution can be "wrong" in some ways.
And also what Khazem said...I'm pretty sure that's the game where Doublelift zoned out the enemy Ashe from their well by sitting behind the nexus XD.

I do give explainations of my words, always, I just do it in a rough way because I like the Bill Hicks attitude (DUMB ENOUGH actually is a Bill Hicks quote).
And the Reason mobafire is looked like a joke is that 80 to 90% of the top rated builds are comletley wrong, for example

I don't know about you, but since the pantheon changes there really is no reason to not go tanky DPS on pantheon. It is better. I can't say the same for Riven, but saying Pantheon shouldn't be played tanky DPS is like saying gangplank shouldn't be played tanky DPS.
Also, although not quite AD, this is probably the best way to play poppy:
http://solomid.net/guides.php?g=4069
It's basically AD that focuses on burst damage. Any other AD items are pretty mediocre, because poppy doesn't scale with AD and most AD items are geared towards sustained damage.

Bit outdated but yeah that's probably the most effective way to build 'AD' Poppy. Her burst will still be very high while having decent sustained damage. Only difference I've seen lately is people replaced the gunblade with a DFG after the gunblade nerfs

Playing panth as tanky DPS is like playing talon tanky DPS.
Aslo that is a decent AD poppy build, but mine was better, and no those are not the only viabe AD items problem with those builds giving magic pen is that they think hey Devastating blow and shoulder charge do magic damage.
Shoulder charge does, devblow does both physical and magical damage. since you're anyway gonna need to trow off some AA in between your combo, and buiding aspd is fairly pointless you might just go for a very strong singular auto attack, that being IE+youmuu+zeal component. Gunblade is a great item on poppy, but then again she synergizes amazing with FoN, and once you have FoN sacrificing damage for sustain is pointless.

lol, I don't know about Poppy since I haven't played her in a while, but I can tell you, you are completely wrong about Pantheon. Comparing Talon and Pantheon made me lol too (they are a lot less similar then you think).
With Talon you can build full dps because you have an ult & Flash. You can't do that as Pantheon...at all.
Pantheon has no escape at all. Flash doesn't count. You need to be tanky enough to survive after you jump on them. Double BT is only OK on Pantheon, you basically need Randuin's + FoN so you might as well build Atmog's and get a Triforce too. Lots of people underestimate Triforce too, which is real dumb lul...
Only way you're going to get away with that is if you face a team with zero cc...

Banshee's veil, merc threads and GA that's what you need.
Building pantheon tanky DPS will ork on the very long run, but he's horribly behind any other champ during the game doing so.
You know how vladimir needs to "get there" then he's unstoppable but it's fairly hard for himn to "get there" same applies to tanky DPS pantheon, exept it is even harder to get there and even when he does he's no vladimir. So basically why play him when there are countless better options?
On the other hand when build with brut + BT he farms like a boss and gets to his defensive items faster.
Due to poppy's passive, the only defense item you really want to build is merc treads and GA in most situations.
pantheon is closer to gangplank than he is to talon (and even then, GP has more innate defense), and thus is built more similarly.
That guide is focused on getting maximum damage from 1 hit - I believe it was Searz who said that, after trin force, bloodrazor gave the most single-hit damage (sorry if I'm misquoting you Searz, but you said it about ezreal for a last item).
And yeah, void staff is going to make you do more damage than any other item, because poppy doesn't scale with AD, her abilities are magic and she scales with AP. The only reason the solomid build isn't pure AP is because poppy's Q also procs on-hit effects, so you can generally get more damage from on-hit effects than you can from AP.

Most high Elo Poppy players also play her AP~
Personally I play AD/Hybrid Poppy more often as it seems a bit more consistent for solo queue, but AP is definitely just as viable.
