Yay, lane easier? It was already easy for those who know how to play him, levels 1-5 you stay the **** out and use your might auto attack or Q to last hit properly, then you enter the stage. Now you will be forced to attack more with having less HP but still no Crowd Control to match other AP Carries. ****, bastards are nerfing Vlad to the ground, he was just fine till now.
John for real, who even considered HP to AP a good thing. You would gain a max of 30 AP from it very late game.

Vlad can use Q every 2.something with CDR, and you say that he needs more CC?

2.70 with 40% CDR, which you now rarely gain seeing as other people need Blue Buff more and the Maximum CDR you are going to get out of Items and Masteries vary between 28-30. Of course, you get CC if you rush Rylai, but who does it now, seeing as you will need now more defensive play from Vlad and his 2700 HP pool. Yes, I think Vlad needs a tiny bit more CC, from the position he was on now, which was low enough, they are going to bring him even lower. I don't see the point of it, even if you had that 3500 HP you had to be a good Vlad player not to lose 25% of it in a single teamfight. Notice that those 15-25% will still be lost when you go into a teamfight and what can you after this? Charge in? Sorry, you don't have enough HP to do this now, stay away and CC? Joke, you do not have it. Sustain yourself out of the battle? Not Vlad's purpose. They took away his biggest match against AP Carries which actually an ability to survive their Insta-CC-Nuke, which Vlad lacks.

Vlad isnt a teamfighter. He did nothing during them and isnt gonna do.
Tides of Blood sure makes difference, its his strongest AoE skill, that deals tons of damage on every champion around, but costs a fking amount of HP
lvl 5: 180+45% AP and 25% more damage per stack.
500 AP: 180+225 => 405*1.25 => 506*1.25 => 632*1.25 => 791 (really bad AoE damage, isnt it?)
Life: 65 => 97 => 146 => 225 (you are losing less life you dont have to use this skill more times and Q can heal everything)
Its a great buff on Tides of Blood

They made his passive cooldown by .5 every time he gets hit by minions/creeps now. His vorpal is also a lot better in the jungle as it still applies the heal even if you last hit with it.
His lane game will certainly be stronger though.

Fan boy biased. You'll get over it. Not like they took away his troll pool, he still has that annoying piece of broken ****.
Oh as well 2 seconds is a long time...Means he will heal 2 seconds faster. Can last hit with Q (if he needs) on a more regular basis. You're complaing about HP Scaling on an AP carry...Build warmogs (trollface), get over it. The health loss is negligible.

Agreed. And Vlad doesnt have much armor/MR to sustain so much HP
