Nick: You'll find out sooner or later that the font and text is only meant to compliment the signature, not detract from the focal point (the render, or the image). This too, applies to the border. It's just meant to help the signature "end". Signatures not meant to be like those ads that pop up in front of your screen with flashing bulbs screaming you are the 5 millionth visitor and have won a trip to Hawaii.
Which reminds me, those bastards still haven't sent me the tickets for the trip >:(

First with that other sig I looked for the Malz skin, and then realised it was Talon, and now I thought that Malz skin was Xerath.
*FACEPALM*
thought it is xerath aswell :P - he really looks familiar in that picture
made some smudging here:

I'm slowly getting it and it looks great even though there is no text - well in my opinion :D
gimme all your critic!

Nick: Better, but still a little awkward with the text. I've made a quick image of where the text would look nice, and I also noticed a faint line on Malz's hand.

koksei: I was actually going to use that particular artwork for you next sig! :P I'm glad I didn't do it now, coz what you did was really nice :)

Considering the fact she added an image showing where the text would look nice, I'd say the placement is a bit awkward :P
Personally I think it looks better if you keep it to the right of Malzahar himself rather than to his left btw.

Well, the glyphs can instead have the same opacity but be erased when they go over the top of "Xerath".
The text is better than it was originally, but it's all about flow. The below diagram is the directions of "flow" that I see immediately when I look at the image (by all means, other's may see different flow points).

If you can see where it flows, it's easier to pinpoint where the text may look good:

And of course, when choosing a spot of the text, it's best to keep in mind the areas that generally won't look that good with the text there (when the text is minimal. If the text is a lot, say a name, then a quote and a symbol, the below image doesn't apply).
