I ended up forgoing Manamune in my support section of my guide to grab Banshee's Veil it was so hard to let go of Manamune but I am finding my support characters are working better the more I focus on auras and tankiness. You already have my upvote, I just hope some other people realize the build deserves some more.
I don't play Blitz personally, but I would always take a support blitz to any team I'm on. This setup sure looks like it would do the job.
It's nice to see a Blitzcrank Support guide.

Snowfall does have a point honestly. However, I voted up because it's obvious you spent a lot of effort into your guide. But also, try to be a lot nicer in the comments section, people commenting are helping you, not bashing you. Just a little tip.
You voted down bro. Umad?

Best starting items for Blitz

1. Damage on E won't change, **** the CD
2. Shurelya's Battlesong is for pure supports
3. Aegis of the Legion can be bought as a 1st item
4. You arent much early game
5. You aren't supposed to finish your build, just to use it
1. Blitzcrank doesn't use his spells for damage - He is a CC golem - He holds targets in the area whilst his carries destroy the target. E is far more effective at this than the huge CD on Q.
2. That's utter bull**** - Shurelya's Battlesong is widely used on tanky DPS champions - Amumu, Irelia, Maokai, Skarner, Rammus, Sejuani and many others are viable champions to get it on, Blitzcrank is similar to those types of characters.
3. Yes, of course you can swap the build order around, but I think you should list Aegis of the Legion much earlier in your build - Before Trinity Force or even Manamune.
4. Indeed, Blitzcrank isn't much early game IN DAMAGE TERMS - Which means there is no reason for you to stack so much early damage on him - Surely it would be better to shift it further along in his build order. At level 3, Blitzcrank is a large threat - His ability to lock down a target is amazing - Which makes jungle Blitzcrank viable - Because his level 3 ganks are amazing.
5. Exactly, so if you aren't supposed to be finishing your build, why do you delay the more important items on a SEMI-SUPPORTIVE Blitzcrank - Aegis of the Legion should be put forwards in your build as a SEMI-SUPPORTIVE Blitzcrank. In fact, it's probably a better core item than Manamune.
