Speaking of, PhotoShop is on sale right now! If you qualify for Student discount it's about $40!
I'm preeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeety tempted to get it or the whole creative suite for $90...
We'll see though... Nice find however.

To be updated soon!
The two coincide with each other really well if you start with the second one.

This was just my first attempt at making a picture ever. It's fairly easy with these two.
Must say thanks for showing us these sites :)

Don't waste the money. CS6 is around the corner which is why CS5 is soooo cheap.

Why? I use an older version of photoshop. Just because a new one is around the corner does not mean he is wasting the money. If he wants to buy a legit version 40 bucks is well worth it.
When CS7 is around the corner CS6 will be cheap too. Then he would be just waiting for another program.
When you already have PS, it is much cheaper to upgrade what you have already than to buy it brand new.
(Plus, older versions of PS are less buggy than when the newer ones come out right away. Most of the time there is not a huge difference. I have CS4 and run CS5 at work and I have to say I like CS4 better at the moment. It does not make a world of difference.)
If you dont own photoshop and its dirt cheap like that, than get it. You can always upgrade it later. Thats one of the better things about buying it.

I was making a suggestion, not dictating how he should spend his money. Working from an older version is fine, just saying; if he came across a sum of money, or got CS6 as a gift (who knows) then that's ~90 extra bucks in his pocket...Highly unlikely I guess, but ya never know.
And upgrades are ~200$ so...@_@

^ Is virtually Photoshop. There are some elements missing, but I could definitely get used to using it.

^ Is more for photography edits. Pretty cool stuff.
So for those of you who can't afford Photoshop and don't like GIMP2 (luls), these websites are pretty awesome.
