Just because a new one is around the corner does not mean he is wasting the money. If he wants to buy a legit version 40 bucks is well worth it. When CS7 is around the corner CS6 will be cheap too. Then he would be just waiting for another program. When you already have PS, it is much cheaper to upgrade what you have already than to buy it brand new. (Plus, older versions of PS are less buggy than when the newer ones come out right away. Most of the time there is not a huge difference. I have CS4 and run CS5 at work and I have to say I like CS4 better at the moment. It does not make a world of difference.) If you dont own photoshop and its dirt cheap like that, than get it. You can always upgrade it later. Thats one of the better things about buying it.[/quote]
