Yorick. How to...?

Okay, he's less durable than other melee champs, but in fact he doesn't fight you on melee-range until you're already worn down. Maybe in all that I forgot sth. Until now I couldn't come up with sth that can manage to counter a decent Yorick early on. Even with a heavy melee champ that has a advantage in close combat, a good Yorick just stays too far away while still pushing the lane and bitchslapping you,too. You can waste flash ofc, but that's not what it means to effectively counter him. And even if you possess a good gap-closer you cant kill him in 2-3 secs and after that you will be slowed, he speed buffed and you will additionally have to deal with his pests. You cant outzone him nor can you even use brushes against him. He'll just start to drop ghoules on you till you have to retreat or drop to low allowing him to take you down. He's one hell of a hit&run harasser and what makes it worse is the fact that he can avoid direct combat WAY too good. @Duff That already came to mind ofc, since Yorick without ghouls < average melee < yorick with ghouls. But how the fuck do you wear down somebodies mana if THAT's his one and only weak point/the thing he has to worry about early? I mean: Start with Mana crystal and if you still have some probs get Mana Seals -> profit. IMO that would be the same as trying to drain Ryze's mana... If you can manage to wear down his mana, Yorick can still buy himself Tear without having the slightest intention to build Manamune, totally worth it if that means for him to dominate his lane..[/quote]
