Kennen has no early sustain, rather long CDs early game, decent move speed, but overall requires a good chunk of farm IMO. Even as AD Kennen. It's possible I suppose, but you'd have to try it a lot in ranked to REALLY get a good set of statistics.
It would've been better for your singed to jungle (I mean come on, jungle kennen?)
Anyway, it's pretty hard to survive anything in the jungle, but it's possible. I mean if you have to, knock yourself out. At this point, you could probably jungle anybody... ANYBODY!

I've tried it. It works. Well. Too bad I lost because my team sucked balls D:
Start
Cloth Armor 5 pots
Go Wraiths > Red > Golems > Wraiths > Wolves > Blue > Wraiths > etc. Kiting and the stuns really help out his sustain, but a lot of times my life dips too low. You can gank after level 3.
He actually has really strong ganks, take
Amumu and give him multiple stuns and that's basically
Kennen.
If you go AP, put
Cloth Armor into
Guardian Angel(or sell it) and rush a
Hextech Revolver(shouldnt be hard)
If AD, get a
Wriggle's Lantern and build into
Phantom Dancer >
Infinity Edge.
Skill Order: Q > W > E > W > W > R
Max R > W > Q > E.
E to W helps clear the camps decently quickly. Q can be maxed first if you have trouble with the buff camps.
If the other jungler comes to you just stunlock and kill him :p
Tl;dr - Jungle
Kennen is legit.

Yeah, it is viable. Do what ^ he said. I have done it twice. I went AD Kennen, in my opinnion, that's the better option. I am planning to test it out more, if my teammates let me... lol
Early phase is really slow, thats the only problem. And his CD's are pretty long early game. But if you can get a hard leash on red, it will be much easier. And Kennen ganks are amazing. Might want to build a bit tanky though.

I played ranked yesterday and I picked Kennen for top lane, and somehow one teammate misunderstood the situation and picked a Singed for top lane...
The thing was we had a mid laner already, and a AD bot, and this Singed could not jungle.. So the only thing I could come up with was to take smite and go full AD-Kennen jungle..
And so I did... Never tried it out before and had no idea how it would work, but for my surprise it actually was kinda good.. A bit slow at the start but when I managed to get a wriggles I flew through the jungle like a breeze..
I even made a few ganks with great sucess, landing a fast stun when ganking resulted in 2 kill, 1 assists before lane phase was over, note that I actually died to there jungler at lvl 2, when I got caught in the jungle and lost my blue buff.
Also note that this was done on 1800+ soloque ranked.
So the question is, was this a one time thing or is jungle Kennen actually viable?
