I can see her playing mid easily. I think she'll have a better time than mid Soraka or Janna.
She isn't mana hungry for the first 5 levels, but 6+ drains your mana uber fast with her combos. I think it's almost a shame that she can be played bottom lane. If given the chance to build AP or on-hit, she'd roll top lane or mid.
Great champion, if Riot is this creative with every champion, the next one will be fantastic.
