True, armor marks are good sometimes.
"every now and again you come across a game that has so little emotional connection to who you are that you end up standing there, gazing at the screen and saying "I'm just pressing buttons and my life has no meaning,"" - Colin Campbell

Madred's whole purpose is to shred high-health enemies.
In terms of damage, Infinity Edge and other AD items deal more damage to enemies with less health as compared to Madred's. No champion would ever get Madred's as a core because AD items simply provide more sustained damage.
I can think of several reasons why a champion would actually want the Bloodrazor over an IE (or other AD items). I'll take IE as the prime example, because it, alone, is one of the largest DPS increases in the game. I'm going to compare the two items as the only damage items on a character, because I think we can all agree that the Bloodrazor is only really viable on champions who don't build much (or perhaps any) other damage. For the sake of simplicity, I'm going to use median champion stats (about 109 level 18 AD, .644 base AS, .938 level 18 AS; ~102.24 pre-mitigation DPS).

Not counting the Bloodrazor's passive, IE gives an additional 65.62 DPS. In order to match this, the Bloodrazor's target needs to have about 1373 HP. Since every champion has at least 1610 HP at level 18, the Bloodrazor does more pre-mitigation damage against every target.
Now, this isn't to say that the Bloodrazor is really a better item, because in many situations it clearly isn't. But you are absolutely wrong that IE is always better.

If you're spending 3800 gold on an item designated to counter a certain item build and then have an enemy spend 740 to effectively decrease the counter's effectiveness while also not deviating far away from the nchamp's original purpose, then there's a problem.
I can make the same argument using

Really, I wouldn't be so sassy about this except that you're arguing something which is easily shown to be ridiculous.

Yap yap. If I'm gonna go tanky I'd run like...
Well it depends. I have a disgusting amount of rune pages and runes, so I can basically do anything I want.
But for WW if I was going tanky, It'd probably be flat armor red's/yellows or hp per lvl yellows, flat or scaling mr blues, and a mix of armor and mr quints depending on the mood or what gear paths I was considering.

This isn't a counterpoint to what you've said, but something to keep in mind is that I.E. is spike damage while Madred's is consistent.
I looooove me my spike damage.

So, as a conclution of all spoken, I would say, that these 2 items are somewhat viable, but only on very few champions (
Malady on 1-2 champions).
Some possible changes were mentioned and they would make the items for more champs viable while not making specific champs OP. This would also open more customization of builds.
So, if the change is done right, nothing should stop it.
Question is answered, thread can be closed if wanted.

@First 3 pages, not reading more into this..
Wow, Mobafire used to be a friendly site whether the OP was "stupid" or not. So much flaming.. I disagree with your posts, Nick, but honestly this is ridiculous.

I guess a lot of users are not patient anymore with Nick, he has been able to use bad logic, troll arguments, posts with troll arguments in wrong forum section, etc.
One does not simply stay calm and polite in those situations.

I understand, I've lost my patience and temper as well, I just feel like it got pretty overdone at that point. Either way, I just recently realized how long ago those posts were, so I guess I'm not exactly talking to anyone with that last post. XD

AD reds and quints is great for bullying a noob into oblivion.
