If I had to guess, probably two (or more) of their teammates left. Bots are easy, even with somewhat ****py teammates. But without them... 3v5 is simply un-win-able in the long run.

Nope, it was a 5v5.
Also, even if a teammate leaves, one of the bots leaves too to compensate, making it 4v4, 3v3 or w/e.
It used to be possible to end up 3v5, but that's no longer the case

I even made a joke about the bots being Intermediate and therefore very hard to beat. Turns out I was right :P
