First of all, this guide is the same as the highest rated one. Second at all, always start with boots and pots. and IF you're going to start with HP Reg, start with mana pot instead, cause he's so mana dependet early game

I loved the section on ganking and using your ultimate. I tweaked the build a bit, but that's normal.

very well written guide!

I'll upgrade you to OK, still no upvote though, I mentioned some things you should improve below though. and yes I do re re reviews! Also if you need any help with anything just ask!

  • Cheat sheet looks the same, I would still change the masteries/runes(honour guard/invasion and the HP ones mainly)
  • Sunfire is fine...I just suggested you could swap it for something like banshees.
  • alternative runes look nice...I would consider the AS being main runes though.
  • WTH Smite doesnt give you 5g... by taking Summoner's Insight you get 10g though!
  • The set up for desplaying runes/masteries is fine. I would change honour guard/invasion for something like CD or vigor though maybe even tough skin and the bladed armor.
  • I'd still take swiftness over expanding mind or atleast mention if you aren't using all your mana it can be swapped.
  • you really gotta improve the items explanations, you don't even mention the move speed boost of FON or mention the CDR off shurelias! There are a few other things like not mentioning GA does more than just revive you.
  • I like the little explanation of the skill you added and how it helps you.
  • Very very brief explanation of how to jungle...you never even mentioned getting help and starting wolves!
  • Warding looks fine. I would add more wards near wraiths ect for counter jungling
  • Ganking comobos are fine, I don't completly agree with your little chart thing, fighting for long peroids of time waste jungling time, you want quick kills. Also a dragon comes back every 6 mins a tower is there untill it is gone. Towers are worth more they won't come back also they make the enemy lose map control/vision. Also fight is kinda vag do you mean team fight or 2v1? because 2v1 is more of a gank which you want to be done quick and swift.

With all this being said I'll upg you to an OK still no upvote but,I did see some improvements. If you want to further improve the guide i'd extend the jungle section, improve item explanation and re look some runes/ masteries.

The reason that I take banshees early on the second build is that I feel that I need the mana, and a early banshee means that you can give the second blue to the mid laner as you will have glacial and/or catalyst by then

+1 The formatting looks awesome, and most of the stuff is viable.
Just a few problems that should be fixed

Buildwise:
1) Runes: Never get HP marks they are horrible :c The reasoning you put against AS marks applies even more for HP marks as flat hp is for early game.

I'd say swap em for ArPen or MagPen.

2) Summoner spells: I'd say move flash to core. Flash ults are really really strong on malphite

3) Masteries: Honor Guard and the AoE damage mastery are horrible once you do the math :P Move them to the CDR one and flat damage reduction one (the purple one). You should also swap the MR for the minion damage as it helps your clear time a LOT :D

4) Items: You should probably get Heart of Gold early on after your boots and philo. You should also consider starting boots 3 for jungling, too. In my opinion you should choose between glacial shroud and sunfire and then build on to more damage. I think Abyssal scepter should be moved to core and should be bought right after sunfire / glacial. Shurelya's should probably also be bought earlier :P

I don't like your second build a lot :P I don't think an early banshee's would help malphite at all . I feel your second build has little to no presence besides the ultimate.

5)Guide info: I think this is awesome :D Can tell you put a lotta effort into it

I think u shud capitalize your guide name ;D

Nice job!

In the first build I get so much armor because it is more directed to go against a heavy ad team comp, and the second build is against a more balanced team comp, if you need a MR tank take someone else, because Malphite aint the one you are looking for then

Good looking build and worth the +1. The only thing I'm worried about is the lack of mr in that standard build. You get like 400 armor and 50 mr.

Thanks for the review, working on some of the points you pointed out right now, such as adding a chapter for ganking, when to gank, how to gank etc..

Oh and another thing, the sunfire cape is staying, it's so good on Malphite I wouldn't trade it out for anything else!
