What is the cheapest champion to build?

I also think about Blitzcrank: Ionian (1.05k), Manamune (2.11k), Banshee's (2.715k), Sheen (1.26k), Glacial (1.525k). Total: 8.67k. But he needs more farm, which is not his strongest point.[/quote]

All you need are a few basic items and their kits can let them do their jobs in a team effectively. Outside of the support realm, I think you'd probably have to look at tanky-supportive junglers. Ones that build aura items and use gp10s. Maokai, Alistar and Amumu are pretty nice, but you can do those kinds of builds on most junglers.
