You're completely insane, have no idea the physical effort those competitors go through and want to get something that has NOTHING to do with Olympics to get recognized as such. Do you even know there are many sports out there that don't have Olympic representation? (such as 1000 martial arts from karate to taekwondo, to extreme sports). They would get there faster than games.
At best, people could create Olympic games contest as some sort of separate event. But that would also be absurd since games keep getting released/changing/changing platform. Who would decide what gets represented and in time for people to get teams and qualify and ****? And the frequency of this event? And finance it?

Well, if you consider e-sports as sports then theoretically it could become olympic. In reality no one in their right mind would think it possible. Maybe in 30-40 years when ppl from all generations play videogames, but even then it would be very unlikely due to numerous reasons. Btw, I surfed web and found this little info about Olympics on wikipedia (I know, not always the most reliable source, but still often is):
In October and November 2004, the IOC established an Olympic Programme Commission, which was tasked with reviewing the sports on the Olympic program and all non-Olympic recognized sports. The goal was to apply a systematic approach to establishing the Olympic program for each celebration of the Games. The commission formulated seven criteria to judge whether a sport should be included on the Olympic program. These criteria are history and tradition of the sport, universality, popularity of the sport, image, athletes' health, development of the International Federation that governs the sport, and costs of holding the sport. From this study five recognized sports emerged as candidates for inclusion at the 2012 Summer Olympics: golf, karate, rugby union, roller sports and squash.
Decide for yourself if e-sports fits the criteria. Also, try the same with lots of actual olympic sports.
