For people with better internet it may update a bit faster, but it's still REALLY ****ING ANNOYING, regardless if it's 30min or 60.

And it isn't unstable, from what I've noticed o_O
I mean it's probably a bit frivolous and annoying for PC only players, but since I have an xbox too it's nice to get gamerscore for some of my PC games ;o

It's not to prevent pirating, it's to prevent renting the games or reselling.

So... why is it that somebody really came up with the idea to assign a menu to the movement stick button..?
Infight, moving, accidentally pressing the stick button, everythings down except movement, need to press another button to exit menu --> 0.5-1 secs the enemy can use to bash my head in.

I'll admit that GFWL stopped me from ever playing Bioshock 2 since you have to log-in to save the game and GFWL never let me, but be happy that From Software and Namco Bandai even got this far to porting the game AND adding some DLC with it WHILE not re-selling it for $50/60 which they had every right to do so.
I have Dark Souls for 360 and I almost want to get the game on the PC just to pat the publisher and developer on the back for doing this off of a fan petition.

I think it might have taken that long for me since I very rarely play games with GFWL (for good reason), I use the GFWL installs provided automatically by steam(they might be outdated) and it takes longer to update the more updates there are. I played Batman:AA and had to update for ~30min, then a year later(or so) I played Bioshock 2 and had to update almost an hour (hmm, Bioshock 2 might have had some issues during installation, I think that's why I remember it being so slow).
GFWL stopped me from playing Section 8: Predjudice because of the constant "corrupt profiles" and some more ******** issues.
Sure, I do understand the appeal of gamerscore, but that's like accepting a cookie in return for daily payments of a kick in the balls.
Everyone loves cookies, but I don't wanna take kicks to the balls on a regular basis just for a cookie.
