the competion bout "0815 standard borin lame grinder click on a mob hit a few skill buttons except for boss fights" increased a lot in the past years, i mean, besides asian grinders which are to 90% trash, there are also now good Games of that kind, only thing that keeps WoW alive is its alrdy big player-base and ppl who get converted to play WoW from that players instead of lookin for urself whats a good mmo.
oh god i hate grinder MMOs just...here is a quest kill 50 of these kind of enemies...another quest collect 20 of these things that this enemy drops 60% of the time...go in this cave and kill this boss BUT ONLY IF YOU HAVE A PARTY OF 5 OHWAIT YOUVE ONLY BEEN DOING SOLO MISSIONS ALL GAME? LOOKS LIKE YER STUCK STANDING IN FRONT OF THE CAVE SPAMMING "looking for a party" FOR THE NEXT HOUR

There's still one expansion after pandaria. Blizzard is not going to shut down WoW right before people get to defeat Sargeras.

Maybe if you actually tried good MMOs instead of the free to play **** you would understand why WoW will never be killed by LoL. They offer very different things, and honestly LoL doesn't even compare to the fun WoW's raids provide. Structuring and organizing an entire guild in order to beat the latest bosses is probably the most fun I've ever had on a video game. On the other hand, LoL is 10% fun 90% anger/disappointment.
The only problem with WoW is that it's time consuming and you have to pay a subscription while LoL is pretty casual and free.

Also, so far I haven't met anyone who has had more fun in LoL than they have while raiding (properly) in WoW.
Canoas ive played tons of not free to play games because my stepdad was a huge nerd and bought all kinds of things and the games were still very boring to me and yes i tried WoW and i just couldnt play it because it was so boring

I enjoyed raiding in WoW.
LoL sometimes feels like a 5 man dungeon with a slue of raid bosses at the end because my idiot teammates feed.
Honestly I can't compare the fun factor because, while both are games, one is an MMO the other is a MOBA. So while some characteristics are shared, one focuses on competitive scenarios where one team attempts to beat another by destroying objective. The other focuses on cooperative game play where people work together to defeat their environment and receive loot for their troubles.
