Nothing's wrong with a game being "cartoony", at least for me. The artwork for the first one was much better than the "serious" one, and the whole humor/laser robots/funky stuff is more appealing.

Yea, I don't quite understand how people can prefer the graphics of CoD - which is pretty much just an array of all the colors in the brown spectrum - to something unique and funny.

Caucheka reminds me of the mom in Water Boy. "EA is the DEVILLLL!!!!!!!"
But seriously caucheka, why not combine all you ea hate ******** into 1.thread? Not their problem that some ******* company sold out their game instead of doing the hard work. Serves them right!

I made points to each one though. Im contributing. Either or, offtopic gets spammed to much by his war against EA. It's really stupid
Aka im the opposing view. My point still stands that it was he original companies fault for selling out. Not EA's.

Oh you mean, it's their fault for not having the amount of capital required to produce AAA titles without a publisher?
Tri lane for life.
So them choosing EA as their own decision is EA's fault? Hilarious. You guys should look at the indie gaming industry, the ******** you use to paint this as EA's fault is too much for me.
What your doing is comparable to needing money to finish your house, but instead of going to people knowledgeable of construction, you go straight to a loan shark to get a 90% interest loan to finish the project with the carpenter of their choosing to finish the job. They got ****ed over because it was their own damn fault for making that choice.

overstrike was a campy/over-the-top third person action game based on secret agents. it had a unique charm that isn't really seen much these days. but then it just, disappeared. the project hasn't vanished completely, but is now under the name of fuse. heres the announcement trailer.
so what the **** happened to overstrike? why did what appeared to be a fun, semiunique experience become the next gray and bloom mature game for mature gamers such as myself? where everything is hyper realistic and you hide behind chest high walls shooting at things.
oh right..
once again, ea is trying to burn the industry to the ground by ruining games. ea's 'test group' of 12 year olds though overstrike was 'too cartoony, like it was something for my little brother.' not to mention the game was, and is, going to be rated m. just the fact that it looks like this
makes it for kids younger than 12.
but ea thinks its important to pander to their 12 year old audience base that they so desire. well.. what games do 12 year olds like?
