Would you read "ugly" guides that provide useful content?
I don't want to ask people to BBcode for me because I feel like if someone doesn't want to read a guide just because it isn't the most visually appealing, then they don't want to work get better and I don't want to help that type of person improve anyway.
The point of this thread is to know if enough people care about how a guide looks and if they are willing to read it anyway if it makes them a better player.

When I made guides, I tried my best to make them look appealing but knowing that I'm bad at the whole coding thing, I don't put too much effort since it eventually becomes bothersome for the "experts". How I see it is that if people are truly interested in your guide, they'll read it regardless of it's format as long as it's not horrendous and you aren't tyPiNg YoUr s3nt3ncEs li3K diS.

Well since we actually have an example of a co-written guide (throat + jhoi), why not promote the idea more?
We could probably ask Matt to implement a function in the guide editing section where you can appoint a fellow member to have editing privileges?
Collaborative guides, wanted this ever since I joined, pretty much. Also, there are several co-written guides out there. All of Azubu's guides have been coded, edited and "made pretty" with banners and the like by Mowen, for example.

I like the short and sweet format but find the build and runes atrocious. It's a good example of providing a good looking guide with information, but IMO the information is poor and once again provides evidence (in my mind) that the guide got votes because of looks...But that's me.
