Her laning's a bit weaker, but safer at the same time. However she snowballs far better now and can get damage out faster, as well as not being worthless if her ultimate is stopped.
She's great now, but I woulnd't say OP because she can be stopped.

I'm on the OP bandwagon.
She now has a waveclear which she just needed so badly before!
That paired with a stronger ulty pushed her over the bar.

In the right hands, she is DEADLY. I played her for this first time last night, and she hits pretty hard, and her combos aren't hard to pull off.
On the other hand, she is one of the most squishy champions I've ever played. If you know when to get out and avoid the death, you'll do well with her.

Is she really op? Some people support she is but I think the old katarina was much more powerful (you know when rylai's and gunblade were actually good on her)
Her early levels are weak, if not weaker pre-remake since you don't have the free, true damage harass from killer instincts +

On the new Kat, I don't get

If you can deny her farm and abuse her weak early damage by out-trading her, you win the lane, and usually the game. Most AP mids are stronger and can out harass her, except
