I played Mark of the Ninja and just started Dishonored and im ****in dissapointed...im looking for a Stealthgame which includes following(and with that has everything else i guess aswell):

Imagine 2 Soldier's talking to each other on their guard duty, being friends n stuff, one turns around and walks a little bit away to take a look at something.
2 Minutes later he returns to his friend, but his friend is nowhere to be found.

Now what Dishonored, Mark of the Ninja and many other stealth games do:
NOT SUSPICOUS AT ALL

What i want:
****, WHERES MA MATE?*Is on alarm*

True, but AI is very complicated to do well.

I.e: Mike Rogers doesn't think it's rape unless the victim knows (s)he has been raped. Sounds legit.

I think you misunderstood the topic bigtime..

Self-aware AI is damn tricky.

You may get close but, you're never gonna have anything really good.

F.E.A.R had adaptive(NON-SCRIPTED), cooperative AI.
I.e: the AI flanks the player where possible, throws grenades when YOU take cover, they can shoot while fleeing, they can use covering fire, make their own cover from the environment(flips over a table to hide behind among other things), lean out of cover to fire and even use blind-fire. All the while using voice to communicate with each other.

That game is pretty damn impressive, especially since it's 7years old..
It's a great game btw.

^Cool, let's hope it holds the standard.
Any shooter AI nowadays is pretty much ****ing braindead compared to the 7years old FEAR, and that's so, so sad..

Also, play FEAR if you haven't yet. Easily one of my favorite shooters of all time.

the main thing that freaked me out was how scarce ammo was. near the end of the firefight the guy playing had no ammo and pulled the trigger.

the last enemy 'hey i know that sound!' and got out of cover and advanced towards you, he knew you were out of ammo.
