i never said you were wrong in the fact that not only kids played it, i agreed with you on numerous occasions, but you fail to read what i said and constantly misinterpret my arguments.

So then, can we just agree that Pokemon is for the people who want to play Pokemon (regardless of age) and leave it at that?
I think lifebaka made a similar points a few pages back. I'm gonna go look for it and rep it.

Not everyone is like you bananaboy. Not everyone has this obsession of being liked by everybody; some actually don't care about what others think.
It is not about trying to make everyone like you.
But is that a reason to fight with everyone you can?
Should you walk in to bar and scream: "You guys are idiots because drinking is bad for you!" ?
No, because that is stupid.
What FireLord is doing right now is that he tries to win an argument against Pokemon in a pro-Pokemon thread, which is the same principle.
But what does he win with that? What would he accomplish by keep an argument going about really... nothing.
Why would anyone start an argument he/she can't win and if he/she would win, he/she would accomplish nothing?
Luckily, I do not see a lot of people doing this on MobaFire, but FireLord does this, and I think this should end.

First of all, that indeed is stupid as drinking is great. Second, being a contrarian is ridiculously fun; it stirrs up the place. A good discussion and/or argument is very invigorating.

That is true I guess :P, still, it isn't fun if people argument over nothing.
Arguments should have a nice subject, like:
Economy, environment, politics, science, things that matter.
Not opinion based arguments like this one.
But you are right, arguments can be very fun indeed :D

Actually, I disagree. It is precisely the opinionated arguments over nothing which are the most fun!
Would you care to begin a discussion on this? ;)

my only statement is that it's made for kids. i never made any other statement. its your failed interpretation that generated this argument. please show me where i said that the game is restricted to kids, i never said it, i gave numerous examples of other games that are made for a target audience but has people outside that demographic playing it. you're the one whos saying i'm wrong.
I'm the one saying that Pokemon has a bigger target audience than just kids. That's all I'm saying.
