According to the OP you lose 3 times more points than you gain. This means you will need to win 75% of games just to rank up, at any level.
A bit harsh, no? Especially for players who start their climb.

Okay, so the reason that people might be losing a lot is because you're classed as a "weak" whatever tier you're in. Also, going up to gold/plat/diamond is also harder because, unless you stop playing, you're up at that new tier forever.
If you're a strong, or even an average level whatever, you should be gaining and losing LP as normal.

The whole system is really wonky right now, you can check the league subreddit to see more stories of the system -- people winning 5 games, getting 90 LP, and then losing it all in one.

Elohell is like Irelia's stun: if your real level is equal or lower than the level you are in, you're STUNNED there forever. If your actual level is higher than the level you are in, you're just SLOWED in your way up.

Well i won akali mid 3-0 as morg then my bot lane fed corki hard, my jungle jax disconnected and gave akali the only kills she got and my top lane went 8-0 vs teemo and fed hard then i managed to help my team to make the score even and all get caught/feed.
I had 97 points before the match now i have 79...and was in a 4 win streak
