How much range he has really depends on what kind of jungle you're running. Phoenix stance (which would deal less damage) has a range of 325 instead which doesn't require him to be RIGHT ON THEM. Against teams that can't kite so well Udyr is just a beast (hahaha get it). Such deadly early ganks... And he just flies through the jungle like it's a joke...
