I just got back into LoL this week after about a year off and one of my fav characters was Ashe, however now I get yelled at about half the time for picking him on TT. What gives? Why is he such a bad champ now for TT?

pretty sure Ashe is a "she".

but to answer your question, it's because carries in general aren't very popular on TT.

I think. Don't completely trust my answer as I don't play TT, that's just what I may or may not have been told.

Pretty much what Bionic said. ADCs are completely stomped by bruisers. The only ADC at the moment who can do well is Graves, due to his passive and the ability to dash over walls. Quinn may also find a place, due to melee ult + sight reveal + ability to be built as a bruiser.

Tanky DPS and CC reigns supreme in Twisted Treeline. Irelia, Cho'Gath, Pantheon, Hecarim, Xin Zhao - these champions come to mind as good picks for TT.

Ashe does bad as an adc because she has no dash. While you can kite enemies like Darius , you cannot kite gapclosers that are click and hit.

The best adc at the moment is ezreal because he deals a lot of damage and has a blink, and his damage is sustained throughout the game. However, he is still not the most viable pick.

More viable picks are champions that are tanky yet deal good damage, and can close the gap between the enemy. Amumu, Jarvan, wukong, Xin Zhao are extremely strong picks and are good examples of what a good pick could be like.

however, don't let this discourage you to play Ashe. While I do kind of hate it when my teammate locks in Ashe, if I was that serious, I would be playing ranked 3's with my friends. Normals is for fun, and so is league of legends in general. Just play your favorite champions.

As stated by OTG Ashe is in fact female, and I Queen might I add...

More importantly to answer your question, as stated as well PLAY the game, who cares what people say about who you choose. Though to make things interesting there has been a pretty amazing theorycrafting going on to make Ashe the AP laner in TT, you should give it a try.

my bad, just used to typing 'he' most of the time.

Anyway, AP laner doesn't seem possible, but I'll see if I can't find the thread and give it a try. might be fun

Boobs = female so yeah Ashe is a she, she has no escape method and squishy in a small map, thats why she isnt so good
Gave you a good laugh or helped? rep+ so i can know ;)

Thanks to TinyStar, Jhoi, Xiaowi, Virus, Bard and Arcana(eww)...for my signatures!

Elohell is like Irelia's stun: if your real level is equal or lower than the level you are in, you're STUNNED there forever. If your actual level is higher than the level you are in, you're just SLOWED in your way up.

In TT, squishy without hard CC=death. Personally I main Annie on TT because i can stun their entire team twice in one teamfight, which is an instawin, but in general bruisers and gap closers reign supreme with a few exceptions for exemplary attributes ( Annie being one for her AOE stun capacities and extremely high burst damage, Teemo for his shrooms since wards don't exist there, and a few others). Ashe is OK but her lack of mobility really screws her over since there is no way for her to really watch for ganks the majority of the time.

Most would say this is completely worthless, as you would be so dependent on your ult. (If you miss, well then FML.) XD I think it would be a fun build though, maybe I will post a theorycrafted guide on here, and send you a link when I am done.
