It is possible that you are 100% used to playing against bots.

You probably know all mistakes bots can make and how to abuse those mistakes.

However, in PvP, they do not all make the same stupid mistakes.
In PvP you need to keep your eyes opened because you will need to see what the enemy is up to as well for your allies.

About the Quinn and Tristana thingy, there can be multiple factors that might have affected the end game result. If you really like Quinn, just keep playing her and it will be rewarding :D

The buying Twitch or Teemo thingy, though they have much things in common, Twitch is a real ADC while Teemo is a mid or a top, keep that in mind before you buy one of them :D

Hope I helped ;D

At your level it really doesn't matter what you play or where, any character can work against any other character, so feel free to play what you like where you like before you get to lvl 25 or so and start working your way into the meta. Yes, I would suggest starting to play pvp so u get used to it quickly. As was previously stated, bots work only one way, and that one way leads to alot of exploitation. People, however, do not. I personally find it much more fun to have to really TRY to beat someone instead of AFK tard-stomping on bots. OH dunno if you knew this or had thought of it, but don't buy runes till you hit lvl 20. By lvl 20 you should have at least 10k IP saved up to buy the beginnings of a couple of pages, unless you just want to burn RP on them. Between Twitch and Teemo, I would say at early levels Teemo might stomp face harder than twitch, but that is just because of shroooooooooms. If you do decide to go teemo, a quick tip: If you ever have all 3 mushrooms stored for longer than 5 seconds at a time, you aren't doing it right. So kick back, relax, look at the guides here on moba, and enjoy your newness where everything works. A couple of builds that should be helpful to get you started:

Twitch:
Berserker's Greaves
Phantom Dancer
Infinity Edge
Bloodthirster
Blade of the Ruined King
Frozen Mallet
(this build works on most any ADC, including Quinn

Teemo:
Sorcerer's Shoes
Nashor's Tooth
Malady
Runaan's Hurricane
Rabadon's Deathcap
Rylai's Crystal Scepter

Hope this helped XD

Your problem is most likely what others have stated. You are used to playing Quinn against bots, so you went in to play PvP like you were playing against bots. With Tristana, you were probably more aware and cautious as Tristana since you play less as her. In PvP, you have to learn to be more cautious as your opponents won't usually make the same dumb mistakes that bots will. They will also be more aggressive in attacking you if your health is low and tower dive you if tanky.

Another thing may be that you may just be auto attacking the creeps without focusing too much on last hitting. If that's the case, you may be getting behind in PvP. Just keep playing Quinn and Trist and have fun with them, but make sure you play safer early.

One other factor that you may not be thinking of is your team. If you had a good team with Trist, it may have made it easier for you to get kills. The opposite could be true with your game with Quinn. If you had a horrible mid and the other teams mid ganked you a lot, then you may have gotten behind and had a rough game. There are a lot of variables that could have contributed to why you had a bad game as Quinn and a good game as Trist.

hi

i would say .. play pvp- playing bots really doesnt teach much after you know the abilities of your champions..

play pvp as much as possible - in pvp focus on 2 things... playing safe and last hitting.... for the most part as an adc you wont get a lot of help from your team and they will do a lot of silly things .. try not to get frustrated

i would suggest play who ever you enjoy at this stage and try out as many different champs as possible when they are free..

:)

When I just started playing LoL, I didn't touch a single PvP until level 15 :P

When I finally went into PvP, I lost around 10 matches in a row because I was expecting my opponents to make the same stupid mistakes that bots make.

Just play more PvP, you'll get used to it :)

I didn't play PVP until level 13 or so. You've probably gotten used to bots, and you need to think more about how other players would act, not how a bot would. A few things you should know is that in PVP, instead of spamming damage items which would normally work in bot matches, you would need more defensive items. Normally, you would get about two defensive items. You'll also want one active item, such as Mercurial Scimitar or Zhonya's Hourglass for defense. Some offensive would be Hextech Gunblade.etc. They would help in sticky situations, or to help you gain more kills.etc. Secondly, you may have gotten lucky as Tristana, or her skillset is simply easier for you in PVP. Another possibility is that you had a better build for PVP with Tristana than with Quinn. Lastly, I would recommend Teemo, however he is hated by about 90% of the League of Legends fanbase, so Twitch might be safer, although in my opinion, is much harder... sorta kinda. Not really all that hard, however, Twitch seems to get away more often than Teemo.

Did you know that last year, 75 Teemos died every second? I don't know about this year though.
