As I said, it might work for you, but he's better in a different role and therefore I am not supporting your guide, because its not optimal. It is actually funny that you mention karma, because she is actually not a full support, as thresh is supposed to be. She has ap scaling on all her skills and therefore you are proving my point: karma's skill set DOES boost her AP-mid play.

Perhaps but so far it's working for me Vynertje. Also Karma is supposed to be support but I've seen many in mid lately that carry their games. Why Thresh can't be offtank? And Meiyjhe it's my first guide here but I will do what i can to make it more good looking.

Bots are not a way to measure something viability my dear friend :P

The problem with your build and using your Q as a gap closer is that you are not building that tanky early on. You will just get dropped instantly and even more in late game. Thresh Q should be the initiation tool of your team, but when you are not tanky, YOU will be the one that gets dropped, instead of your intended target when you grab someone.

I mean, it might work decently, but there are more things that work decently too, but still not being viable. Thresh bruiser is one of those. As support he is just so much more potent.

And umm it's not a humor guide i have played around 10-15 games with this build on top lane and my scores are very good. If you have the time try it out vs a game of bots and tell me how did it go.

Vynertje as i point out u will use thresh's skills as gap closing his main damage is coming from his basic attacks and build. Also, this is my first guide here but i will include footage soon.

I see your point but frozen mallet is useless in my trinity build. Trinity applies the same effect but if u see the second build i have it there. Blade of the ruined king is a savior in a 1v1 battle with its lifesteal and its active. Your build suggestion is nice reminds me of my old garen build. Still i will test your suggestions and inform you about which build is better. Oh, and give it a shot on a game with bots you won't lose anything.

As a Thresh main, I can tell myself that playing him top does not work really well. His skill set does not benefit any bruiser role, and the only profit you have as bruiser is his range combined with Q passive. This is good poke, but furthermore it is just as (non-)viable as Fiddlesticks top. Thresh skillset is based on getting in the middle of the team and that does not benefit a bruiser build.

Furthermore, you don't really explain that much on skills and how to use them. The only think you mention on Death Sentence is that it requires practice. You could also mention some ways to make hitting easier.

Also, add some BB-coding/images/video's to make the guide look attractive.

If you want to kill stuff with his Death Sentence passive, you build straight bleepin' AD. You don't build attack speed. Frozen Mallet, Warmog's Armor, and Atma's Impaler are okay, enabling you to get that first shot out and then switch to a tanky support role. Bloodthirster for AD, sure. I'd put Sword of the Occult up there too, if you can get the kills or assists. Not Berserker's Greaves or Blade of the Ruined King or Infinity Edge (why the hell is that even a choice here, when it's your only source of crit chance?) or Phantom Dancer (see previous note). Hextech Gunblade is useless without any AP to actually use its 20% spell vamp.

You take advantage of Death Sentence's passive STRICTLY to burst down mages before they can cast their second spell. That is why you build him this way and it's the ONLY reason to build him AD.

I'm not voting because I haven't tried the build in-game. But I would not want to try it.
